This site has a number of games available for school-aged children to play. I tutor, and I love this site because it has really lovely looking games for kids to play. The graphics on it are satisfying, and the tasks are interesting. For example, on one game, kids can take a rollercoaster ride with animals, and on another, kids can fly on their dragons. In order to make progress, the kids have to spell the words correctly, and the words are drilled over and over again. I turned one student into a speller with these games. He gets A+s on all his spelling tests now. I highly recommend this site.

This company out of China would be a decent place to work, but there are several caveats people should know before they commit the time to go through their lengthy application process. One, according to their contract, they will charge you for missing a session. They don't give a cr@p if you are half dead in the hospital or if a tornado swept away your entire home. If you miss a session, they will charge you for any appointment you miss. Period.

Second, they initially signed me up for a certain wage. The next contract that came through lowered my initial pay by two dollars. I didn't know that they had done that, so I signed the contract. There was no notification of a new wage structure or anything, even though this was their claim as to the reason why. They simply decided to lower my wage because it was more convenient for them.

So, they are not totally transparent in their onboarding process, and then once they have you working, they cut your pay. Also, you should know that they do not guarantee work at all. You can open up as many time slots as you wish, but you can be sitting there for months without any students to tutor.

NOT WORTH ANYONE'S TIME! They play with your wages and then you have to work like a dog just to get a student or two. There are places where you might get less money, but no other company I know of will decrease the initial offer they give you on the wages you earn. Also, at least some pay is guaranteed when you do work. In addition, if you miss a shift, you simply do not earn pay. At VIPkid, they will actually charge you for missing an appointment regardless of the reason. In a world with COVID, this doesn't work.

Like many people who have left a review for Walmart during pandemic times, Walmart has changed its policies, so buyer beware! We used to be able to bring back items with missing parts, broken items, and rotten items and get a refund.

Enter COVID, and all of the sudden, they have trained all of their 1-800-WALMART associates to say, "The return is up to the discretion of the store manager. I'm sorry. Is there anything else we can help you with?"

As you can probably guess, the local store managers are not accepting returns.

Here is one example of something that we were stiffed on by Walmart. We bought what we thought were live worms for our reptile, and the worms were so dead and rotten, they were melted and stunk terribly. Look at the picture. Isn't it disgusting? The store refused to let us exchange the dead worm carcasses for live worms.

We are going through a pandemic, true. However, you can't blame the state on the world on everything, including on dishonesty and shoddy service and products. The pandemic did not make the worms rotten. The associate responsible for maintaining the refrigerator where they are stored for sale is responsible for not rotating the items.

On top of that, the manager at our local store is just a big, fat bully. The last time she spoke with us, she yelled at us on the top of her lungs. We make it a point to be polite and professional, but that's the thing about bullies. They will act poorly no matter how well you act.

It's just greed. Amazon.com did not change its return policies just to rip off all of its customers during pandemic times. Walmart did, and now you will lose money when you shop there, rendering what little you save at their stores useless. You can't use the pandemic as an excuse for changing return policies, especially when there are companies that have not and are still prospering despite the pandemic.

Tip for consumers:
It's not a site, but a store.

Products used:
We bought worms, they were dead and rotten, so we did not use them.

Steer clear of this company. They have a poor company culture, and people with talent will have a difficult time flourishing there. They claim to cut your account off so they don't waste the applicant's time, but instead, they are speaking of themselves and don't care about the applicant's time at all.

It's best to steer clear of this company. They provide guidelines and instructions, and then blame you when you follow them.

Your time is better spent applying to other companies where they don't blame you for not having the ability to read minds. This company is not trustworthy at all. I wouldn't believe a word they say.

There is a pecking order at this company. They have writers who they give all of the highest paying orders to, and everyone else must bite, scratch, and scramble to get decent paying work. I am one of these writers who is not favored within the organization even though I have been working there for fifteen months, and I have my share of highly rated orders that I have completed. Yet, I literally have to apply to twenty orders just to get a handful, and if I'm lucky, they'll throw me a scrap or two of a high-paying order like a dog.

Because of these conditions the company creates, it leads to limited chances to make money every single day your work for the company. It even affects writers when they have a contest. For example, their latest contests call for writers to try and write as many pages as they can within a month or have the highest amount of rush orders. We all know that this contest is fixed, because only their darling butt-kissers get the urgent orders, and the rest of us get some only occasionally. It's not a real contest where everyone has an equal chance to succeed and get a bonus.

If they stopped rigging the entire company so that only a handful of people profit, they might have a really good thing going. I don't know if it's a cultural thing or what, but as polite as the staff communicates, most of the time (you have those who do not and try their best to interfere with all of your orders to make life difficult for you), you won't get a fair shake at this company, no matter how many favors they talk you into doing for you where you will wind up making only a few ducats an hour.

Dear Moxy, thank you for your frank feedback!
Please be informed that at any moment of time, we have a lot of orders distributed among all the active writers. That is not possible to give all the highly-paid orders to a 'handful of people', as in this case, they are supposed to write hundreds of pages every day. Yes, we offer the competition for you to have a chance to be promoted. As a rule, a lot of writers are eagerly engaged in it and for sure, they receive what they strive for.
Moxy, I am sure we can find the most suitable option for both parties. Let us review the orders you have done and make the appropriate measures. Please either indicate your ID or contact us at support@writerbay.com, as I cannot find you in the system by your name.

Have a great time ahead!
