I have been waiting nearly 8 weeks for my website and ecommerce site to be completed. It is maybe 50% ready... They told me 4-8 days... My cost is over 200.00 per month and while they did give me one month free, my site is not finished and my store is really not what I need. Some items appear in an order and others do not, some have sub-category icons and some do not. I asked specifically if a sort order was possible and they said yes; what they failed to mention is that the numbers have to be part of the item name and will show. They told me I didn't have to do anything and they could load my products from my catalog... they uploaded a dealership catalog in PDF format... how would a customer order from that? I ended up spending over 100 hours creating csv files for my product imports (I have 4100 products). I call and call, and more often than not I get someone who just has no idea why I am not happy-the buttons on my pages all took you back to the home page after 6 weeks of "working" on things. My site builder has gone down twice so they had to stop production and speaking of production... production hold people failed to assign someone to make corrections and my site was in limbo for almost 10 days. It is a never-ending mess and had someone from their advertising department not been trying to sell me advertising I wouldn't even have gotten this far! Some of the people are nice and try to help but in the end my website being completed is the goal and that is not happening. I also agree with another post in that my first site they designed looked like a child did it.At one point a supervisor got involved and nothing happened but an error that duplicated all the items in my store which took nearly two weeks to fix. I was told when I was buying my package that I would get unlimited modifications forever... what they failed to mention is that didn't include my store. That is one hour per month. How were they going to build a store site with 4100 products in an hour a month. It will literally take 3 years. They agreed to take care of things but as we go not much changes and as soon as they say they do complete something it is either not done all the way or something else is wrong. I could go on and on but I won't I just will mention that if my site would have been done professionally as the advertising states I would be happy to pay the 200+ per month. As of today 11-6-15 my search engine cover photo for Google is still incorrect even after they sent me an email stating it had been updated. I am not able to view my advertising listings because web.com has a bulk login, or so they tell me... I can view them after they are live... what if they are not what I wanted? My store which I noticed yesterday had over 1300 items with a price of ZERO... Can you imagine if someone had stumbled onto one of those categories and loaded up their cart at my expense? Jared from store modifications assured me he would put it under construction. As of 11:35 last night 11-5-15 it was still live and I am glad I figured out how to make it "closed". My thumbnail photos that were supposedly put in by Lee two days ago are still not there in 2 categories. I clearly explained what I needed with options as well and the agent was frustrated because I kept repeating myself... apparently it did no good because they are wrong. My site builder, I was told again today, is still down but it worked for me... I was told by Aaron two managers were working on my account and would call me at the end of the day. I confirmed three times please make sure they call and he promised of course and... NO CALL... of course. My conclusion is that this company instructs or fosters an atmosphere of lying and excuses to customers... they are not qualified to do what they are doing... or the staff is not getting the direction and support they need from above. I have had so many issues and everyday it seems as though there are more. Every time I call they say my site is on production hold and I told them finally I don't buy it anymore. In less than the time an entire "team" of experts supposedly is building me a professionally designed site I built my own at Big Commerce. Granted I am no expert but it is not too bad. In the interim I am waiting for this amazing professionally done site to emerge from the folks at web.com... I am still waiting... I am giving them one more week. If they cannot provide what their advertising and sales people promise I will no longer be a customer and I will call FOX Network and explain to them how this advertiser on their channel handles clients. My advice... build your own somewhere else. OH... one more thing... EXECUTIVE support has done absolutely NOTHING but reqeust information and I have not heard anything back.
