I emailed WeldingSupply to get an ETA and confirm the price of an item (as it was suspiciously low) from their website and their response was "price is as stated on website, lead time 6-10 days." So I placed the order because of the good price.

3 weeks goes by with no update, so I email them to ask for an updated ETA, they responded "This is on back order and should ship late this week"

Another week and a half goes by, and I ask them again to reconfirm their shipment ETA and they said "in 1-2 weeks, item needs to be ordered in." I told them there must be an error because I was told it should've shipped last week. I am then hit with a copy and paste message effectively saying "your item is on hold because we changed the price, nothings been ordered this whole time and don't blame us"

These guys doubled the price of the item from $27.99 to $57.99, even after confirming the original price to me through email and it took them 4 weeks to tell me (in a conversation I initiated.) On top of that it appears they just outright lied and made up the story of the item being on backorder.

These guys are outright liars, lazy and unreliable, I wouldn't recommend them anyone.
