A colleague told me that he had a friend who bought a used MacBook from a seller on Reddit. He sent me a link and told me to get in contact with the seller. The seller sent me photos of the MacBook in good condition for $600 USD. He sent me an invoice via PayPal so I thought this is sounding OK and looking legit even though it was my first time buying something from Reddit. What I didn't know was that seller only spent $20 to ship the item and did not insure it. UPS marked it as delivered, but it never arrived. When I told him it never arrived, and that I wanted a refund he went nutzo. He started sending me melodramatic emails saying he would call the police on me and have me banned from Reddit (in which case he would actually be doing me a favour) and he never wanted to speak to me again. I reached out to PayPal to activate buyers protection, but as long as USPS marked the item as delivered, I was out of luck. So many phone calls later to PayPal and USPS, as well as cases, opened and closed in the sellers favor, and then re-opened again. For a while it was looking like I was gonna lose my C$800 and the whole experience was upsetting. I had to persist with multiple calls and emails and follow up. A huge waste of time. Over a month later I was granted the refund after USPS posted a second delivery date at the tracking number. My advice to you. (1) never buy anything on Reddit. The sellers are not professional, and may possibly be running scams. (2) if you want to buy a MacBook buy it from the Apple store. (3) never rely on. PayPal buyers protection if you are not 100% confident in the seller. (4) buy from people you heard of that have a website and are not irritated when you email them. Some sellers are actually selling computers, phones, or other devices with malware and spyware, which they later used to hack into your bank. BE CAREFUL, BE CAUTIOUS and WATCH OUT for deals that sound too good to be true, you get what you pay for! (my real Screenshots are attached for your reference). Update Nov 2023: Luzsom LLC has changed his name to Fadeo LLC.

Tip for consumers:
Sellers are sub-par, unprofessional and likely to be running scams. BE CAREFUL, BE CAUTIOUS and WATCH OUT for deals that sound too good to be true! You get what you pay for!

The website is quality and the agents very responsive but my most recent experience with them was a fail. The agent told me it was the landlords first property, that I would be his first tenant and that he was very anxious about the whole process. I should have viewed that as a RED FLAG. As I moved in and got settled I started to get the feeling that I was being watched. I could also see 6 unnamed devices listed under my bluetooth connections. So I started covering the smoke detectors and showering in the dark. That's when EVERYTHING changed. No more normal sounds of life upstairs, no more busy weekends just silence and stalking me 24-7. Following me from room to room, making a sound in response to every sound I made from a Zoom call to watching a movie. I could not believe I was being harassed for covering up the private parts of my body.

I went back to my Zolo agent and asked her about hidden cameras in the units they list and she completely ignored the question. Just pretended I didn't even use the words HIDDEN CAMERAS. So I looked into a bug sweep company and they quoted me $3,000 to sweep the entire apartment. As my lease was coming to end the landlord reached out to tell me that he would be raising the rent and wanted me to sign a new lease to renew my term for another year which is not required by the law. But I refused to pay $1 more dollar (on rent or on a bug sweep company) to live like a hamster in cage!

So I gave my notice to vacate and I won't be using Zolo for my next rental! If you choose to use Zolo, here are my tips to you! (1) LADIES beware if your landlord is a man that only wants single ladies to move into the unit. He could be a pervert secretly watching you naked! (2) WATCH OUT for new or "never lived in" apartments, if you are the fist to live in it the landlord can raise the rent after a year to any amount they choose. Newer units are also more likely to have spy cameras built into the walls and/or ceilings. (3) Never extend the term of your lease beyond a year. By law your lease continues month to month and you are free to leave if needed by giving the landlord 60 days notice. Zolo show some corporate responsibility and weed out listings with HIDDEN CAMERAS! To the reader: Be smart and careful out there and know your rights!

Tip for consumers:

jwperfectmatch.com is a brand new site that attempts to address all of the concerns raised in my jwmatch.com review. It looks exactly like jwmatch.com but with a "fresh coat of paint". It claims to screen members to ensure they are not married and also provides guidance on how to select a mate. Wait. What? When the Bible uses the word perfect is it talking about a time now or in the future? Furthermore, who is appointed to provide spiritual food that we can trust and make serious life decisions with? Who wrote this? What do they look like? Why do they care so much about us? We know what the faithful slave looks like. We see them monthly on the broadcast and yearly on the convention program. They show us who they are and they provide guidance we can trust like this 2021 article regarding internet dating sites:
https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=*******&srcid=share

Takeaways that ring true: Do not be misled! You may find yourself married to a bad associate!

The heart is desperate and treacherous. Be careful. Which of us would drink a glass of water with one drop of poison in it? When making a life decision as big as marrying someone, follow the advice of the faithful slave: meet a potential mate in a break out room, on a construction build or soon at an assembly, convention or gathering. Observe thier faith in action. You owe it to yourself to put in more than the usual effort. These sites are a shortcut to major life decision. Don't take it. You want so much for this to be your turn, your time to find a mate. Be patient. We have eternity. You may make your life worse using jwperfectmatch.com and wish you were single again!

DO NOT BUY from UCenterDress! I fell in love with a photo of a dress on their site. It was the MOST beautiful wedding gown I had ever seen. I was soooooo excited when I made my order and couldn't wait for the dress to arrive. When it finally did and I opened the package the dress seemed different? I tried it on and was soooooo disappointed. I quickly realized that they do not have any of the photos they post on their site but they try to re-make the dresses in the images. If you decide to go with them, pick a dress you think is impossible to mess up if IMITATED. I will never buy from them again. There are other sites that post REAL images of the dresses they sell AND have a guaranteed return policy. I did not contact them within 14 days because I was thinking maybe I could get a seamstress to do work on it to make it what I imagined. I had a huge conflict. I finally decided that my special day should not be ruined because they could not give me my dream dress and lied about it through FALSE ADVERTISING. They will not refund me or do an exchange. Brides save yourself the heartache. DO NOT BUY from UCentreDress! Planning a wedding is stressful enough. All the best to you!

Tip for consumers:
Watch out for their fake reviews!! They post fake reviews with profile pictures of cats, dogs, trees and God knows what else giving 5 star reviews of their products!
