Spoke to a guy named "Josh" claiming to be the customer service manager. Seemed to have NO CLUE about when my order was going to ship or what the status was. Can't even communicate. Very unhelpful. I've already filed a complaint with the BBB about this "Josh" character. Either they SHIP my order, or give me a FULL REFUND.


This is about the so-called "Sheep Shed Project", that's funded or connected to the Women's Resources of Monroe County.

This place needs to be shut down. This project consists of "retirees" who are just there to make themselves look good to other people and they don't do any work... I tried to donate 2 sets of excellent condition twin bed mattresses from my parents' home because they both died this past summer, and the woman running it named "Roseanne" just kept making things very hard to set up a time or to do ANYTHING for that matter, to give the mattress sets to them. I wanted to drive them up there myself tied to my trunk so they wouldn't have to come down and pick them up. Oh no, she says she wants pictures of them first... She has an email address on their website and a phone number to call her. She wanted pictures of the mattresses and box springs. (I don't honestly know how you can tell the condition of mattresses by "pictures" of them...) but that was fine. I went and took pictures with my digital camera and emailed them to her. She then says she "never got my email", which was a lie, since I've written an email to her asking about donations and she was able to RECEIVE IT AND READ IT. It took her a week to reply. She said she can only "text" on her phone... So I tried to do it her way - went and took pictures with my cell phone. She then says the pictures didn't come out very well. She also thought that it was my brother sending the pictures, not me... Initially, she talked to my brother who is an attorney. He cannot make the time to come over and take pictures of the mattresses. He's overwhelmed and swamped. So I'm trying to help him since I don't work and I have the time. Not only is this woman an idiot, but she just refuses to work with you. She's hard to reach and she doesn't want to use email because she has "problems using email". I called another woman on their website by the name of Karen Tetor. Very nasty. I told her the situation and she just got really nasty and was sticking up for "Roseanne". "These are retirees and Roseanne has problems using email". She then says, "You know what, give them to someone else! The negativity and animosity... etc. Etc." I was so frustrated about the lack of assistance I got from these people. None of these women wanted to help. Unreal. Why have an email address on the main website, when Roseanne or anybody there refuses to use it! Plus you try several times to call her and she's hard to reach. And she refuses to use her email. This organization is a JOKE. Don't even waste your time with them... They don't care and they don't want to do their job. They say "God Bless" all the time at the "Sheep Shed"... They are such phonies... Sure, they'll volunteer, as long as they don't have to do any work.

I went and called Women's Resources of Monroe county and spoke to Heidi who was really nice. She told the executive director about what happened. I'm going to write a letter myself to her. This was unacceptable. Don't ever use the "Sheep Shed". They are a fake organization. I bent over backwards for those people and they were TERRIBLE. A bunch of lazy New York/New Jersey transplants... If I could give this place a review, it would be less than 1 star!

It turned out in the end, the Salvation Army TOOK MY MATTRESSES AND BOX SPRINGS! If I had known that they would take them, I could have had this done months ago! They usually DON'T take stuff like that, so I was very surprised... 

I hope Women's Resources either shuts it down, or gets better volunteers. But I wouldn't hold my breath for any of that to happen. They'll probably just treat this like this never happened like a lot of things in the Poconos...


They have deceptive shipping practices. They use the slowest cheapest way to ship all to make themselves money and don't care about the consumer. It's all run by middle-eastern people who can't even run the business. There are cheaper places to get DVDs. You're better off getting anything anyplace else other than Amazon. Buyer beware of Amazon.


I agree with the other commenters. They used to be a good company and had great service. Now they don't give a crap about the customer. Their quality is in decline also. They messed up on one of the pieces I ordered to have made. So they weren't going to ship until today. That was a lie... And not only that, they don't want to bother fixing their mistake and they make YOU pay for it by waiting for the price of gold to go up higher, because they didn't ship when they were supposed to ship. I tried talking to customer service about it. They SAID they were going to fix it and adjust the invoice. THEY NEVER DID! And it was THEIR FAULT, not mine. They messed up on their casting and didn't ship the date they were supposed to ship. The customer service is horrible. They really suck, and they do NOTHING to help you. And they don't care either! I'll dispute the charge on my card!

Also, I've discovered that the weight of the piece I purchased is heavier than what the weight is on their website, so they charge you more. Plus, I had purchased an item to be done in silver, but the labor they charged was $40.50. I purchased SAME model number, SAME item but in 18K Rose Gold. The labor they charged there was only $25.00. WHY do they charge more for labor for same item done in only silver? I don't like what I see at all and I've been a long-time customer with them. Their quality has gone down, their customer service, or LACK THERE OF, has gone way down. I had a bunch of special orders done, and right now, I feel like once I get them, I want to return them and I want a FULL refund, because I feel I was screwed over big time! I'm NOT happy. They are not up front about the labor costs and they misrepresent the items on their website.
