Awful service with contradictory answers and no solution.
I booked a return flight for three people - two of them having the same name. Opodo reservation system added a suffix "Jr" to one of the passengers, while "Jr" is not in the passport. All this WITHOUT us putting "JR" in the reservation! The airline informed me that that passenger will be denied boarding.
I have been trying to solve this issue with Opodo for a month now, no luck and no answer from their customer service. The customer service is absolutely incomptenent, cant even properly read messages, does not solve anything, promises solutions and does not deliver. My parents, who are travelling with me and know no foreign language, are in bad luck because of Opodo's mistake I will not be able to travel with them shall this not get fixed soon.
Steer clear if you don't want to lose money on someone else's mistake.
Never again.
Hi Milos, names are issued as introduced by passengers during the booking process as it is an authomatic process.The airlines have differing policies regarding changes to names. Please send us an e-mail to customer.service@travelgenio.com stating your booking reference and what change you need to make so we can study with the airline whether this is possible and at what cost. Remember that when you buy a plane ticket the names must be entered exactly as they appear on the official documents. Regards.
