My wife and I ordered flowers for relatives out of state. There was an adequate selection of beautiful arrangements at reasonable prices. The checkout process was the usual attempts to try to sell upgrades that most online shoppers find as well as an explanation of additional fees. After negotiating this area and giving the payment information we clicked the next to last step review order button which displayed all of the checkout information correctly, HOWEVER there was now a $14.99 fee added to the order for "Handling". There already was a fee added for delivery so this was extra unexpected unexplained fee. It's not like it was an extra nickel and dime fee they slid in, it was a very last minute substantial increase added after walking through the lengthy checkout process.
We, and others, simply may not have time to drop the order and start shopping with a better merchant. We were darn right angry about this shoddy business practice but placed the order only because of the time already put in to send our flowers.
My advice, don't do business with them unless you don't mind being charged a last minute substantial unnecessary, unexpected fee at the very end. We won't be back.
