There are a number of determining factors for those who wish to register on the website and for those who are already registered. The first and foremost ones being an insecure system of providing members with online confidentiality and also account tampering by the administration itself and those who are designated as 'moderators'. On at least three separate occasions the administration were given information which clearly showed the website was being targeted by persons unknown which was - and still is - causing difficulties with the website. These alerts, given by members themselves, were ignored and rather than address the issue in a professional manner the administration chose to ignore it. One member repeatedly stated - without prejudice - that the i. P addresses were easily obtained and that member demonstrated to a select few the accuracy of his statement. The member's account was banned. Two other members openly stated that the user i'd's of members were appearing next to their comments. One of the members was banned while the other unwisely chose to rescind their statement to protect the administration itself. Quite often, when a website does not renew its Internet Security Certificate extreme issues in protecting membership confidentiality occurs.
Account tampering.
The moderators and the administration are directly responsible for this. A growing number of members have stated that they are unable to respond to comments or to respond to confidential messages received in their private inboxes. Some members are deliberately targeted - without methodology - because they have 'upset' the moderators. Experience Project - which was managed by the same administration as Similar Worlds now is - suffered from the same abuse. When the private message system suffers from tampering, those private messages lose their confidentiality status and are often 'vetted' by those who conduct the tampering.
The tampering by the moderators can quite easily be noted as being spiteful rather than considered as constructive to the good running of the site and within their own inboxes - which remain untampered, naturally - there is collusion concerning which members or not cause them displeasure. This is often notice by the 'hearting' system whereby some members are told they are 'hearting too quickly' and other members are told 'they have reached their temporary limit'. Several members who had, allegedly, reached their 'temporary limit' accurately stated that they had, indeed, only given between 30-40 hearts during their brief time on the website. They were considered 'undesirable members' - without just cause - and, thus, attempts were made to obstruct their accounts. Other attempts to obstruct members accounts give the moderators the opportunity to wrongly mark posts as 'spam', when they are clearly not. Further attempts by the moderators recently evinced that they engage in dubious practices of deliberately naming members and associating them with posts which do not relate to those members. Recently, a woman who did not advertise her age publicly, to ensure her confidentiality and safety, was publicly denounced as being a teenager. The member, herself, has not discussed this openly in the public forum. The denouncer, herself, has now named two people and her account, unlike others who do this, has not been suspended. The moderators themselves are given to outright lying. A recent post from a member was deliberately targetted by the moderators claiming she had posted a picture focusing on someone's genitalia. The photo itself was a comical one and did not portray any crudity or nudity.
What is evident is that Similar Worlds (Experience project they are one and the same) resurrected itself by registering the same site under different ownership to avoid IRS requirements and to circumvent the requirements stipulated by the Federal Trade Commission. It's alleged prior ownership was attributed to a one, Armen Berjikly - which was really a clumsy anagram. The alleged founders of Similar worlds, Nuno Peralta and Andrew. E. King are names which are false. Mr. King depicts himself as an African gentleman of Christian faith - this is simply not true and his photo is false. A third member of the administration (Badminton) allows his private failures in life to promote a political prejudice in American politics enhanced by profound tendencies of misogyny and homophobia; those who physically know him state that his often violent outburst towards women and members of the LGBT community in real life are a serious concern.
The administration continually refutes all notion of account tampering and third-party attacks without concern for its membership. The membership, itself, often has to read the flimsiest of excuses, veiled under the guise of 'technical difficulties' and when those excuses are examined in depth, it is noted that they are irrational and carry no weight.
The alleged founders rely heavily on a false database created to attract third-party advertisers and, as a secondary source of undeclared funding a vip structure which requires bank account/paypal details. Given the hacking of Similar Worlds and the and the account obstruction/tampering, it would be unwise for anyone to submit any financial details on to a site known for its security vulnerability.
By all means, if you enjoy this environment then do so with regard to your online security and be mindful of account obstructions and account tampering should the 'moderators' be a little 'upset'. Its worth remembering that the moderators are not intellectually equipped to participate in the smooth running of Similar Worlds, so they are only able to act on their 'feelings' which are, more often than not, marked by jealousy, envy and personal resentment.
Further difficulties are found within the site's structure as it openly establishes groups which are considered by many to be perverse - pedofilia and incest being the most noticeable. Rather than just remove the groups, the administration still displays them to maintain and increase their database but, ironically, gives the members themselves the opportunity to report them, this has, naturally, proved to be inneffective and was merely offered to temporarily pacify members disapproval.

A former member of the Similar Worlds previously registered name, Experience Project, known to many as 'Billy Madison' is currently active on the site posing in the age range from 13 - 21 years with more than a few artificial accounts and is upported by an almost equal number of accounts by a significantly large group of members who are privately known as 'Team Billy'. With the online persona of both 'men, women, lgbtq, they have currently 'infiltrated' the friendship circles of many and their sole objective is to undermine, what they state as, 'the corrupt administration'. From what I have observed from the noticeable activities of many members, there appears to be considerable success, with many of them generating artificial accounts in their dozens.
I must reiterate that online security is paramount to confidentiality and remind the member that although he or she may believe that security may be gained by their proxy 'browsers', unless it is the 'tor browser', the proxy browser that he or she uses still has a fixed i. P. address and may not, in some cases, guarantee absolute confidentiality - particularly in respect to any financial transactions with Similar worlds.
My personal view is that the site was designed for a short lifespan to acquire finances from whatever sources they can at the expense of member confidentiality and an overall general code of ethics and morality. There are allegations - which, to the best of my knowledge and, at this moment, have yet to be fully investigated by the IRS and FTC - related to the 'selling' of members e-mail addresses to establish and support their false database to would be advertisers.
As a final note: please take your online security seriously. Refrain from giving too much information in your profile details and never discuss any details concerning your children; scammers specifically target those whose profiles are detailed so that they may invest their time wisely.
