WARNING: If you are looking for a company that takes pride in their products, will give impartial expert advice, good customer service and responsibility for what they sell, Furniture Village are not that company.
They employ incompetents like Homeserve Furniture Repairs, that are at best economical with the truth, not impartial and have problems with arithmetic.
I have to concur with the other negative reviews about Homeserve furniture repairs and only wish we had seen these negative reviews earlier.
We thought we were an isolated case, and typically British did not want to make a fuss.
We were led to believe by Furniture Village that Homeserve Furniture Repairs were impartial experts, and a bit like the Ombudsman. Nothing could be further from the truth and i now realise ours is not an isolated case.
It is quite unbelievable that they have got the contract servicing and repairing for so many companies, but if people carry on leaving these negative reviews, they won't have it for much longer.
We have found Homeserve furniture repairs and their engineer to be incompetent, their report misleading and at best, economical with the truth. Also have the photographs and reports to prove it.
Our report number is: *******
Please ask to see your report, we had not seen it during discussions with Luke the manger of Furniture Village Friern Barnet and Stevenage, The report was used as a verbal stick to beat us with.
We were a little bit intimidated at first but once we asked for a copy of the report (which is your right) we see how we were mislead and how inaccurate the report was, and have now taken the necessary steps with a reputable company to rectify this.
Really grateful to Sitejabber, Trustpilot and Google reviews and everyone that has taken the time and effort to write these reviews, warning others, regarding Homeserve furniture repairs so we can highlight these unethical practices, and hopefully put a stop to the misery caused by this type of scam.
