I was on a road trip & close to 1am we decided to stop at a hotel for the night. I had seen ads about hopper finding last min hotel deals, which this was very last min. I downloaded the app & selected a hotel who's parking lot I was in (as the price on their website was a little more than hopper). I go inside to check in & they can't find me. I called & found out Hopper had it for check in later that day at 4pm due to it being after midnight when the reservations were made. I needed a room at that moment. I found out they charged me all this other stuff I didn't ask for & not to mention the price I originally saw for the hotel was not the price I got (they actually changed more than the hotel was charging). So much for a discount. I asked them to cancel everything since it was just done less than 10 mins ago. I was mad about all the confusion & extra charges. & fees. I ended up having to be on the phone w/ a rep for 30 mins, now close to 2am, exhausted as she is telling me she could only give me $20 of my $252 back! I had to pay the hotel to stay that night. The next day after a little rest, I called Hopper back & got a guy to refund me on the room portion of the bill... but I am still out $60! For some other fees & charges. That applied. So for less than 1 hour of interaction time w/ this company & getting nothing from them, I am out $60... for nothing! I will never use this app and will make sure everyone I know, knows what happened to me.
