I ordered a pair of Murakami Slides that are shown on Hipchiks website as "Hipchik" brand for retail $85.00. Two days later I received Murakami Slides with a Chinese stamp on the soles of the slides that are all over the internet (same exact ones with Chinese stamp) being sold for 30 dollars. I wrote the owner an email explaining this is fraud. I gave her the opportunity to do the right thing. The owner wrote me back an email saying: "I am so sorry you are so disappointed but I buy shoes from different companies and some of them I develop myself.
I have no control on what the sell and how with drop ship etc.
This has nothing to do with fraudulent.
As a matter of fact someone showed me the same screen shot today and I was upset as well." I'm so sorry but this is fraudulent. You're claiming you're selling a sandal with your own name on the sole but shipping customers a Chinese sandal with a Chinese label stamped for 85.00 when others are selling this for 30! I tried to do the right thing by helping support a local business but obviously 60 dollars is so important for this owner than reimbursing me for her big big mistake.
