About Me

I have to do a lot of my shopping from home and I am willing to take some risks to try new companies that offer different products. I think small businesses deserve a chance and support - as long as they value their customers and provide a good product. There are so many ads on social media. Some are honest new companies. Some are not. BBB doesn't really cover these companies and, good or bad, I want to help businesses and consumers.

How I Can Help

I have been a trainer in customer service, especially call centers, for several companies. I know what the training programs and standards should be. I praise when I see something great. There isn't enough recognition for good service and great business practices - so often people only speak up when service is bad. I think reviews should be balanced as much as possible. Honest. When it is a great company, they need to be acknowledged - especially if they are new.

I do wish they accommodated larger bust sizes but they do offer a wider variety of styles and fittings. If you order a size that doesn't work, call customer service and they can advise you on what size or style will work better. Some of their vendors are better than others. Once you find a vendor that works for your purposes, it's fantastic. Shipping charges and times are great, especially if you watch for deals.

  • US Postal Service

There are definite benefits to the site. Being able to order priority mail supplies free and have them delivered is fantastic because not all sizes and types or packaging are available at the post office. You can also see the full selection of postage - but I was shocked that I had to pay postage to have that shipped. I mean, $1.25? Why?
But if you are looking to handle issues? It's a little spotty on navigation and functionality.

If you shop them right, you can get some great deals. The fabric itsrlf is cotton and most items are solid construction but the colors fade way too easily. Understand that their sizing is different the X-sizes are shifted one size down. Verify sizing before you order. I've purchased boots with good luck. Shipping times are reasonable and often there are free shipping coupon codes.

  • Wish

I started with Wish before they even started the advertising and when I saw the TV ads, I was stunned at the deception. Realize that there are a bunch of vendors all offering the same items and some are vendors operating under more than one name so bad service under one name doesn't affect them too much. Some charge shipping and others don't- and you have to read that fine print to make sure you're actually getting a deal. Shipping can be outlandish and you might not see it until it's too late.

Don't expect things to be as pictured. Some items are safe. Kitchen items. Some bath items. It depends. Clothes and electronics? Don't do it. You are getting a cheap knock-off that probably won't work or fit. I mean, the quality will not be there. At all. It might not even be recognizable.

There will be no wonderful box. It will be a poly bag.

You are FAR better off going on eBay and buying items from the foreign vendors so you have protection and guarantees that protect you. It will probably be the same vendor - and cheaper.

Seriously- don't trust this marketplace. The odds are not in your favor.

I wasn't sure about buying online. But the deals offered were fantastic and the shipping charges were incredibly reasonable. Processing and shipping time was pretty good for this time of year. It was really a great experience and I'd use the website again.

  • Rally House

I have ordered from them three times. One time I shipped to store and the other two came to my house - all were extremely fast with reasonable shipping charges. I mean, even during the holidays, I was stunned at how fast it arrived. For being licensed products, there are great deals, a wide variety and a very user-friendly website

  • Game Stop

I have returned to this site repeatedly for years. The items are clever. They are SO much fun. But the quality is incredible. I have bought clothing, gadgets and home items. Never disappointed and when an item doesn't work (a shirt didn't fit), they will work with you until you're happy. They points system is fantastic and boosted my holiday shopping. Shipping is reasonable in both cost and speed. Always look at their sales! You won't be disappointed! There are things that will just make you smile and so will the banter from the way they phrase descriptions! This site is very worth your time and money. If you have any variety of geek or nerd, shop here.

I really tried to use this site. I was looking for an alternative to eBay. Less out of pocket and you can unload a lot of stuff. But you really can't trust people-and I mean AT ALL. There are very few controls on accurate descriptions and whether items are sent after an auction ends. Yes, you can get great deals in a barter-like system. But for each "deal," expect 1-3 problems. Consider as well the issue of postage. If someone charges postage, it is often inflated to compensate for the fact that they aren't making money on the item. By the time you pay postage, you could've bought the item. Many sellers hide postage costs.

Now, if you are a seller? If you offer free shipping, you get more bidders - but remember that it comes out of your pocket and might actually land in the hole. Plus you get some very unrealistic buyers who don't understand that you don't control the post office. They will file a complaint if they don't instantly receive it.

Now, let's talk disputes. It is burdensome and often illogical. Don't expect it to protect you. There are no solid rules to really protect you on either side.

I should also note that this is presented like a barter system but pay attention to your actual financial cost. It will send you back to ebay

I will admit that I wait for free shipping deals - but I do that with every site. But even during the holidays, shipping is extremely fast. The prices are fantastic but here is the great part... most of their products are top quality (not every company is 100% but they are par with companies that charge 5x as much).

  • Harris Poll Online

7/18/18

First of all, their app has always had signifcant problems. Start there. Constant glitches and problems signing in with a "forgot password" link that does not work more than half the time. But if you have allowed their "shoptracker"? It will keep taking info regardless of whether you can access your Harris account. The surveys? If you are lucky, you get points but don't be surprised if you spend 20 minutes on specific answers on a detailed survey, reach the very last page for the confirmation - and the Harris poll (not vendor) screen tells you that you did not qualify for the survey and get nothing. They just gave the company contracting with your information so they get paid but you get nothing. They don't have to compensate you and you have no real recourse. Then you can be me, allowing them to take data through shoptracker... and then unable to sign in. Their password reset is (again) not working. You send a support request and they send you an email link over a day later - which is already expired. You send another request asking why they didn't send a working link. Meanwhile, the password reset on the site is actually working, so you get in and do things with your account, including cashing in to get a reward. No problem. The next day, they say your account has been in active for a year and *shrug* but so sorry, we guess it was shut down and all the point were wiped out and cannot be replaced. Of course it was a lie. They killed my account because they didn't want to get things working properly. My account had been very active and they could see that. This is a dishonest company that blames robbing people of points - via various "glitches" - in many ways. There are other polling sites. Go there. This one will take your information and get their payday but they will find ways to not pay you. Do you have 20 minutes to waste to make THEM money? No, you don't.

What a nightmare. Which would like to hear about first? Loot Vault or Loot Crate? Both are awful.

Ordered multiple items from the Vault in a Christmas Sale. I expected a little delay because of the season. Two WEEKS AFTER CHRISTMAS (three weeks after ordering), it still hadnt BEEN PROCESSED. Im not talking caught in the mail. No, they had let it sit for three weeks! So I emailed to cancel it. They confirmed the cancellation. Days later customer service emails well, theyre processing it now. Do you still want to cancel? Yes! I told you several days ago to cancel. Nothing back... and I get a shipping notification! They pushed it out the door to avoid the refund! When I got angry, customer service told me just to refuse delivery - trying to dodge the refund. So I waited a week to get it and refused. Then another week. It got to them. Almost another week before they did the refund. I had to file a claim through PayPal!

Now Loot Crate? The first got here late. Both items were hideous. The mystery item was something that Id seen at least two dozen people try to ditch on eBay.
Second shipment - because I thought Id give them one more try? So far its two weeks late. The tracking number provided is actually for my previous order! (I mean, that takes special incompetence.) customer service? Well, I filed with them a week ago and since then have received TWO emails saying how busy they are (BS) and will get to me!

I mainly order shirts but the fabric is top quality. I wish the black shirts held their color longer but there is solid quality.

I actually foolishly placed more than one order to get an advertised promotional item. I have NEVER gotten the item. Instead, you get a cheap piece of crap. Don't bother contacting customer service. They truly don't care. They have zero interest in making things right and retaining a customer
