They used to be acceptable...but before that they were awful too.
Lately the phone help has been particularly thick... and I MEAN THICK!
I had plenty of money in the bank and found a bargain on an old guitar amp I had been hunting fir. I told Jim I would take it. And I ran down to the quick mart and used the ATM... CARD REJECTED. INSUFFICIENT FUNDS... I call them and am on hold for a long time... that's new! So I text the guy... tell him I want it... trying to talk to my bank. I wait 15 and the girl says everything looks fine on her end... that I should Try another... getting nervous... drive to a walgreens... same thing I call and am on hold tell the guy I'm still trying to get my bank to fix this... he says ok. The lady? Says that I don't have enough funds. I said don't I have $700 in there? She. Said yes and I said so I have enough and she said oh wait. Yeah you do... So what's up? She said she had to talk to a manager so I wait 15 minutes... She comes back and says that my limits are too low and I said my limits are $1400 and she said no there are $100. Anyway this goes around and around and one after another incredibly stupid person... Tries to? Tell me what's wrong only. Their version of what's wrong is completely different from the previous one and this happens about six times... All the time I'm texting the guy and trying to call him every now and then just to let him know. I'm coming and over an hour and a 1/2 goes by... Finally he said don't worry about paying that much. I'll take half of what I was asking I feel bad for you... Finally he said don't worry about paying that much. I'll take half of what I was asking I feel bad for you.I don't know if he felt bad because my bankers are idiots or because he thought I was broke?
But it's happened every time lately and it used to never happen. And now they have filipinos on there... And now they have Filipinos on there. And.
I like filippino's don't get me wrong... I just hate it when they answer my phone calls because they are not actually employed at this bank. I just hate it when they answer my phone calls because they are not actually employed at this bank. Therefore they don't actually. Know? What they are talking about to any great degree. They are just expected to know every little rule and regulation. When they're probably doing call center work for 10 different businesses. In the most they do in most instances is apologize and act as a buffer for her people who are angry and qant satisfaction.
They are the masters of apologies. They are the masters of apologies. They can spend more time apologizing than people usually spend on an actual problem. I finally have to interrupt and say excuse me but quit apologizing the only thing. You should be apologizing for is apologizing as much as you are because you're not doing anything you're just wasting time.
I finally have to interrupt and say excuse me but quit apologizing the only thing. You should be apologizing for is apologizing as much as you are because you're not doing anything you're just wasting time.So today I had to pay my rent and I usually take some Money out of savings and checking... Money out of savings and checking. And i've been doing this for years. But like last time everything has changed and I can't do it because they say my wife has to even though both of our names are on it. And they tell me this after I've already done what? They've? Told me to do once already... I get her on the phone and she's angry because she's a nurse and she has to come to the phone and talk to these people for a long. Period of time and get herself verifI'd. But they finally say they have transferred it and they're about to give the transaction number and she said I don't need to know the transaction number... Can you please just email it to me. Can you please just email it to me? She says no here is your transaction number... * silence* it was here... let me see. Wife is p***ed. She says you can't find the number. Why don't you just email it when you find it? And we'll just do it like that. Can we do it like that? She says you can't find the number. Why don't you just email it when you find it and we'll just do it like that? Can we do it like that? She says yes of course. Even though she said no moments ago... Even though she said no moments ago? So she hangs up audibly. So she hangs up audibly. And the woman. Oh wait oh wait! I said she hung up. I said she hung up.You told her was ok. She says it was not okay. She says now that she has to call from her own phone that it is a new condition on her account that happened in the last 5 minutes.
Long story longer... we didn't get the rent.
I've had more problems in the last few months than the previous 6 years.
11 minutes on the phone today, conflicting reasons... she called for 15... then tried on her computer at work... another 20...

EDIT: Had to edit this, because my ANDROID phone has dementia! Serious... look it up! Lol

So far I have talked to about 40 or so women on the site. Out of all of them, about 2 of them were real. I'm widowed and I asked them in advance to please just tell me if you're a catfish because I'm not going to send you money and not going to fall for any BS or sob stories, because why are they on a dating site asking for money anyway? LOL
But be warned, there are some cunning ones and they will just continue their little charade because what the hell else are they gonna do? Most are in some third world country ****hole, so what do they care? Answer: they don't.

Indeed there are ways that they can vet their members and actually give you a better experience. But those would drastically reduce their reported numbers of singles on their site, to not put them in the lead, but in a distant LAST, among all the major sites. This is owned by the same jerks that own most of the major sites, so it's not like this will RUIN them, it's a planned FUDGERY... one that they ELECTED to do, so that they would have the maximum number of singles on their site, facts be damned!

90%+ profiles are fake. The only good thing is, if you report a profile, the'll likely yank it right off within 24 hours. The only bad thing is, they will do the SAME thing to you, if someone doesn't like your profile or chat with you... so once again... dropping the ball!
I got a year's f****** membership on this thing... Because their order form will automatically default to that, even if you've clicked a shorter membership. I'm probably gonna do a charge back and just take my chances someplace else. They do have a verification process, and some members do that, so that's one way to avoid scammers, but it's also a good way to avoid 80% of the legit profiles as well!
I'm widowed four years now... and haven't been on a single date. I'm a musician and looking for a girl that is into the same thing... that worked for me before, and I joined this site for the numbers and supposedly the profiles were keyword searchable... this is important for finding other musicians or musical people... but turns out they only can search the PROFILE NAME, and not the text in their profile. Once again, they dropped the ball in a big way. I'm cranky... maybe that comes through... lol... but this isn't that hard... even if they lost a few points in their bottom line, they are already owned by the largest company in the biz,... you'd think they would have a little bit of pride in what they're selling... nope! Nada... Good luck out there!

Tip for consumers:
Don't. There's no way to really make it worth your while..

Ok... I realize it's all about the weakest link at these services, but according to my estimates, they all went to UPS.
I SHIPPED A GIBSON GUITAR LAST YEAR. The customer gave instructions on how to wrap it and was confident it would be ok. I thought so too. It was, after all in a hard shell case and the thing had survived 100s of gigs! So I took the strings off... wrapped it in foam wrap, being careful not to make it fit too tight in the case. Then I wrapped the case in hundred of wraps with a shrink wrap... then I TRIPLE BOXED THE WHOLE THING. WITH DOUBLE THICK CARDBOARD. IT NO LONGER RESEMBLED A GUITAR CASE...AND it got there. Looked ok... no damage to the box? No damage to the case... took him a half hour to finally get the guitar, that had been gently immobilized in foam... and the headstock was broken off. A near impossible feat. They did it.
Several horrible experiences later, I'm convinced I can ship this little amp. It's light, built like a tank. So I pack it in heavy cardwood box... that woody board made from paper pulp... 1/4" thick! And basically crate it in that. Then tape and shrink wrap... then cover With sheets of polystyrene foam... more shrink... then the first layer of cardboard... tape... then shrink... then another box over that, slightly looser... taped... then a huge double thick box over that... which had been a little crumpled. But ideal, as I wanted the last layer to absorb shocks, do I taped it loose, then some more shrink wrap again... it was now TWICE as big as the amp! Just hot the news. The amp wasn't damaged from the outside... the amp chassis was ripped loose from the mounting screws... pulled through the hole. Breaking the wooden case, and two corners smashed from the pieces flying around inside, all of which were anchored and packed tight with packing INSIDE THE AMP.
A sweet boutique amp... destroyed... there's nothing these simians can't break... there's nothing that they'll treat with care... just^$#%^& kiss it goodbye!

New one! I shipped a road model electric piano, which is BUILT INTO A HARD SHELL CASE... the whole thing was a CASE... same old story... I packed it insanely... layers of thick foam OVER the hard shell case... shrink wrap... wooden boards, HUGE CORNER GUARDS... the outside looked perfect... inside... carnage. It nearly lost me an account because the site I sold through thought there was no way it could be this damaged in the mail. I fought it and won easily, with 100s of pics. I have no pics of the carnage on the other end, but power amps modules ripped from their mounts, power supply ripped off from G force stripping screws, destroying speakers, keys and harp broken, all mounted in wood with huge wood screws... and the hard shell cases even cracked from throwing this piano. They threw it.

Tip for consumers:
Insure it and have the package equipped with g force sensors.

A special BIG THANKS to sitejabber for flushing the essay I wrote here the first time... real class guys! Be sure to save your writing... if you have to long in again... your review is TURD CITY... Seriously... if you LOG IN... ok...
Here's the best way to shop with digikey... GOOGLE the part you want, and then check the part very, very well... because their parts will show up in the search no matter even if they a completely different class of part... and then check it again... and then before you pay... you will NEVER find it using their interface... unless you have days to spare. And THEN be prepared, because even though you clicked on that part, and you could swear that part was the only one you looked at... there will be a different part that arrives... close enough for plausible deniability... but of no use to you. This happened once, I thought OK... maybe it was my fault. Twice... I thought HOW?! Now the third time, and I feel like an idiot for using them. I needed a 5 MHZ crystal... a 4 MHZ shows up... but when I ordered it, there was nothing else on the page! And the algorithm suggests a substitution... they should just remove that... don't suggest anything... because I got not only the wrong pinouts... but the entire wrong class of IC... I'm used to sites that actually are made with some degree of accuracy and intuitive interfaces that don't overwhelm... if you're on a page with the piece you want and it's not there... then SAVE those parameters you know are there in that product and automatically apply it to the next search... instead of putting you at square one. Some people don't know the codes for sizes, pins, composition, surface mount... and you don't make it easy now, do you?... they just know the part # they needed... now you're making them look up stuff they didn't need to if you had the part they needed... so meet them in the middle, so you don't have to check 100 boxes on the most ungodly difficult form that seems to just get more and more twisted as you use it, until your search for a capacitor has you inextricably stuck in a bulk purchase of conduit! And after you do all that... still get the wrong item! No more... done... DONE...

Tip for consumers:
I would say, talk to a person that can help you, but don't expect them to be accountable... I did that once... so I don't know... I don't know what will make it work for you... nothing worked for me ever. Not once.

Haven't gotten the parts yet... have to order from another vendor... the shipping was very fast... and it wasn't a bad deal... I just can't believe that I've gotten the wrong parts every time.

This is a pay to play site. The websites on the lists they review have all paid for the privilege and to appear as legitimate. I can find nothing on the "reviewer"... she is a made up person or just some shill they found that would allow her picture to be used on the site. It's as bogus as they come and should not be considered in any way an actual review site. The brands and sites they serve, are simply the ones that could afford the price they charge. It's all done in legal shades of grey... so I'm sure they employ a team of attorneys or are OWNED by one... that there's sufficient fine print to allow this wholesale scam to take place... this is the WILD WILD WEST days of the internet... so take care! BEWARE! And don't ever, EVER consider the reviews of this site, and it's affiliated sites.

Tip for consumers:
It's a site that is paid to review sites and has nothing to do with quality assurance. Many of the sites included were part of the same network and I'm not aware of a conflict of interest behind this but it's entirely possible. The websites included are bogus and couldn't possibly be rated with any input from actual customers... those are on the BBB site that I copied and pasted in the pics. That tells the real story of the sites that they rated so high. There are good sites out there.

I originally tried this when the site was rather new about 2, or 2 1/2 years ago. And right away I was completely suspicious of the site activity. When sites like this start up, They won't have the traffic to pull people over from other sites and be competitive... So they hire SHILLS from East Asian countries like Philippines and others that speak English, to fill out their database with fake profiles from all over the US...

It was very obvious and none of these prospects or fake profiles contacted me, or even made the slightest attempt at being conversational... I filed a charge back and had a look at their BB records and basically they are paying Google to keep their website in the top 10, which really pisses me off when I do a search nowadays and it still pops up, last time at #1! Congrats you took a scam to #1... or at least you paid a search engine, for a high rating, over using the last when it has never ever been a site of any repute.

In fact there are very few that I could actually recommend, But certainly there are ones that are populated with actual people! All of those personality models are made with the same simple algorithm... which doesn't work, no matter how many of their dumb questions you answer. People on this site are just too lazy to throw that rock at the corner bar!

It's interesting to note that the top 5 personal sites they are all owned by the same company, including elite singles, and akso the reason that they can afford to pour all of this money into it. Basically these websites are in business to stay in business and getting you hooked up with a actual prospective mate is not even their #1 priority. The only thing they are trying to do is give you hope that their algorithm and their website will give you the edge over real life, when in many situations it's actually the opposite. If they can keep you on the site for years at a time, they make even more money. The only thing they are actually interested in is how many of these websites can the market support nationally! That's why the 1st 5 sites are all owned by them... possibly more...

By owning as many as they can in the actual market they are aware of how saturated the market is and how many it can actually support.

And one thing I really despise about this is that that the algorithm is is very limited in scope and doesn't let you do even simple keyword searches... And unlike almost every other competitors site, this one will not let you try anything for free... meaning you will not get any functionality of your profile for the hours worth of work you put into it answering the dumb questions... Your profile will not do s*** until you pay the money! No test ride... just throw your money down a hole and face odds MORE DAUNTING, than if you went to the corner bar, threw a rock and hit a girl! It's THAT bad, not to mention riddled with scammers, often times as many as genuine ads, but they leave the scammers in. Because they fill out the numbers! Yep! They really suck!

These guys regularly scour and scrub comments against their website off the net because they don't want people to see them and understand that they are completely worthless completely meaningless personal website. But one thing they can't hide is the history of complaints that the Better Business Bureau has on them and even though they have dealt with almost all of them you'll be able to see the history of what makes this the worst personal website ever.
There are pictures and screen shots I have going back before I met my wife. They can do something. They won't.

Tip for consumers:
Do not sign up unless you have a bank that handles fraudulent charges.
