Used Upwork for 2 years for channelstreem dot com and hired several persons to admin our servers spent more than $20,000 so far. Recent experience taught me 2 thing about Upwork. First, con men discovered they can cheat the platform and make a profile full of fake info, misrepresenting who they are and qualifications. Some, pretend to have knowledge in computers but in fact they get the contract and farm it out to someone else with scant knowledge that actually try struggling to do the work. The second issue I learned, is that never deposit any money into escrow, as these con men simply never complete the work then ask you to close the contract and release fund. When you discover you been had, and request refund, the con man files a dispute of which I never received any notice of in the app or by email from Upwork, when time to reply to the dispute expires, Upwork pay the con man money out of escrow fund. My observation now, is that, most anybody qualified to work left Upwork, it is becoming very difficult to find honest help with the knowledge and experience they put up in work bio, and the percentage of crooks are getting higher by the day... So be careful who you hire, don't be impressed by the con man fake work bio and listed experiences /education, all lies, and never deposit funds in escrow at Upwork until the work is done right as agreed and on time. Even now when I still try to see copy of the dispute, all I see is blank white page as if Upwork do not want you to see the dispute (see image). Will definitely start looking for better alternative to Upwork hire.

Beside the numerous scam artists that models complains about, there are the Cancun hotel Casting Calls paying for girls to parties, and worse, the Israeli sex slave traders that site owner is befriending. But that is not our problems with the site that is for the models that post on it, they need to contend with and take a serious risk. Our company problem with modelmanagemnet.com is that for one entire year our data security is constantly violated, from login credential to removing feedback, deleting emails, and today, as if they want to poke you in the eye they reduced Love count for our profile from 343 to 313 (we do keep screen shot of our data) and it gets worse, a model stated that they received a false derogatory info about our company, sent to her personal email. Christina refused to change our email that is compromised and owner which I emailed couple times never implemented a Two-form login identification or free Google Authenticator that can give some safety to these posting models personal data. I will renew membership for another year, but only to collect enough data and evidence to turn it to the FBI.

BandMix is not a fair play platform. Apparently Bandmix admin blocks your messages on the messaging feature when you are trying to contact musicians using Premium paid membership. Sent out more than a hundred messages and not one responded, or even viewed my profile until I complained they allowed one view in. So it works if Bandmix don't block messaging from someone they don't like for some reason. One month and cancelled renewal. SAVE YOUR MONEY and a whole lot of frustration.

Subscribed for 3 month and got no reply to any contact I sent out. Turned out most are fake profiles. The site is based on taking your Credit Card info for monthly billing. The first red flag is they don't accept Paypal and need your credit card info. So found out the hard way that the website content is bogus and all they needed is your money. Sent them email for cancellation and received a week later an offer coupon to use the site for free for 2 month. A week later, after insisting, I get email saying will cancel. To my surprise, they still billing my bank 19.95 monthly. Now have to report fraudulent charges and waist my time dealing with these crooks that run fake content website,
