I ordered a pair of slippers for shipment to Canada on December 8,2014. Some incompetent delivery people at Canada Post misplaced the package, and it was "returned to sender." I needed Buyhappyfeet customer service to make one phone call to Canada Post in order to get my (rather expensive) international shipping costs refunded. The unidentified representative responded with curt messages and offered no assistance, instructing me just to "reorder" and "use another address." I only have one address, and I get other packages here just fine. Finally, it took intervention from PayPal to force a refund of the product and shipping costs. The company was not willing to issue any refund at all. If you really need to order, I highly recommend using PayPal for your own protection. I would not trust them at all.
This customer submitted their order with an incorrect address. This was shipped to that address immediately like we do every order. The bad address caused it to be returned so we lost the shipping charge to the customer and a $23 charge to us to get the return back due to the bad address. Our policy is to credit the product and NOT charge the return fee to the customer for the mistake which is great to the customer, but we don't refund the shipping going out due to their mistake. This customer took issue with that and took no responsibility for that issue, wanted to blame us and all this was over their need for a $9 shipping refund when we paid $11 for the outgoing and $23 for the return on his mistake. The $34 cost was more than the total order. Customer is simply rude and unwilling to take responsibility for their mistake.
