I run a Makerspace at a community college and work with 3D printers on a regular basis. I know good filament when I see it, and I use Maker Geeks filament with my own personal machine. Prints come out very strong (it is a tough, higher temperature PLA, not brittle like so many others. A small piece of filament fatigues when bent, rather than snapping or cracking). The filament captures fine detail well. Layer adhesion is great, and the filament diameter tolerance is consistent. It is an affordable PLA with results comparable to very expensive, high-end filaments. I order the 1.75 mm PLA, in regular Maker Geeks colors, as well as their recycled PLA, and have been very pleased with all of them. Packaging is good, with silica gel packets in resealable bags which work well for dry storage. Labeled with proper print temperatures.
Also, the customer service is good. I have emailed with questions, and received prompt, helpful responses from the owner.
This is a good company, and I recommend this filament to fellow makers.
