Very, very unprofessional. I asked for a estimate. I was very specific with the owner asking he not show up when I was not home to give me an estimate as I had some very specific things I wanted different quotes on and I did not want to go back and forth over the phone trying to get the additional estimates because he would not have all the measurements he need to accurately quote them. He agreed he would call if he was going to be in my area and set up a time to come out when I was available. Guess what, he showed up early one morning and quoted me on just one of the projects I wanted quoted. I was also here and he never rang the door bell. I found the estimate stuffed in my mail box later that morning. Hummmm... seems like I was pretty clear, not sure what he had difficulty understanding. So I called him and we went back and forth etc. I asked him to come back out when I was available but he never did. So I got the other quotes from contractors that could show up when I was available. I then called him back, because I stated I would let him know either way, stating that if he would honor the quotes he gave me (even the ones that he did not have all the info) that I would go with him. He stated it had been a few weeks since he was out to quote me and I took too long to get back with him so he had enough jobs for the season. Business 101, you don't ever blame the customer for taking too long especially since he couldn't follow simple instructions of making sure I was available for him to provide an accurate quote. Even though I was not impressed but because he was the best price and had good reviews, I decided I would see if he could possibly do it the next year at which point he hung up on me mid sentence. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called back. It rang and rang then finally went to VM. I left a message asking if we got disconnected to please call me back to discuss alternatives. He never called me back which tells me my instinct was right that he purposely hung up on me. Who does that. Seriously, what type of business owner does that. He is unprofessional, can't follow simple instructions, has terrible communication skills, and terrible customer service skills. If he can't follow simple instructions or act professionally I don't know how anyone could trust him to put in a driveway. Even if he offered it at half price, I would not use his company. Save yourself the headache and go with a professional company because this guy is anything but professional.

I paid for a three year subscription after a friend told me how much she liked AL. I needed a concrete and garage door contractor and contacted only the ones listed with an "A" rating in my area. I scheduled several to come out and give me quotes. Wow, what a terrible experience. Only two of the five concrete contractors were professional. The others were very unprofessional and one even hung up on me because he had enough business for the season. Yikes, way to burn a bridge brainiac (being very sarcastic here) I would have waited until next year if he was not so obnoxious. I posted one review giving the person that replaced my garage door a fair review (not bad but fair... to get a good review, you have to be good). Angie's list apparently lets them know about the review and I am guessing who posted it because the garage door contactor called me stating I better change my review and proceeded to argue with me for 40 minutes until I told him he was acting like a bully and I was going to hang up. He did not say, I'm sorry I over charged you or was unprofessional but started out threatening that I better change the review. He acted like a bully and it was not what I needed in response to posting my honest review of his work. I would really like to know how these individuals get all these good reviews (friends maybe) because I did not have any luck finding a decent contractor on the site.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in my home town. They have really good Asian inspired cuisine. What puts them over the top in my review are two things. They have exceptional customer service, which is key for any business but they have genuinely nice staff. It is not a put on (which customers pick up on). They even know my regular order (Almond Cashew Tofu minus mushrooms). I do eat here quite a bit but to remember my order, that is focusing on the customer!. Second, with almost any meal you have the choice of replacing the seafood, beef, pork, or chicken with tofu. I am a vegetarian so this really opens up my choices! In most restaurants I typically have two or three options at most but here I have almost an entire menu of options. Granted it makes my decision harder but it is nice to have multiple options. The atmosphere is great for dates, friends, family, and children. It is a cozy restaurant with dim lighting that makes it feel very comfortable.

I was excited to have a non-stop flight for my sister and I to go see our ailing Mom. My sister does not fly well so I wanted a non-stop flight to make it easier for her. Everything is done on line and they do not have any customer service people you can contact directly by phone or chat. They also have lots of extra charges including a fee to choose your seats because they can't guarantee you will sit together if you don't pay to select seats. I thought this was really tacky. Ticketing was fine, flight out was fine except they state they accept cash for beverages and snacks but they actually don't and the plane was a bit dirty. The real problem was on the return trip. I fly very well but kept feeling worse and worse as the flight progressed. I was wheezing and feeling sick to my stomach. I then started breaking out in a rash. I found out why, the lady in front of me and her husband had a tiny dog wrapped in a blanket. I am highly allergic to dogs. No airline crew member asked anyone around them if there was an issue with the dog and I did not see the dog literally until we were landing. I was then sick for the next two days because the allergic reaction caused an asthma attack. I almost had to go to the hospital. I emailed the airlines asking them to rethink their policy as I had to take additional time off work due to my allergy/asthma attack. I realize the air is circulated and I still would have felt a bit ill but not to the extent it caused to have the dog so close. If I had been asked, I would have requested one of us change seats. I sent my email on 8/7/14 and they responded on 9/26 stating: "We regret that you was uncomfortable concerning the actions of the dog on this flight. Please understand, that we do allow pets and service animals on our aircrafts. We do realize that this may cause an inconvenience for other passengers but this is our policy." They went on further to state it was my responsibility to notify them the dog was a problem even though I didn't see it until the end of the flight and by then it was too late. I guess asking for them to notify passengers around someone with a dog is too much to ask. Because of their lack of basic customer service I will avoid them in the future.

Some prices are good, some are just ok. Have to be careful as some electronics are reconditioned. The website freezes up a lot. First order went fine. Second order one of the items I wanted was not available so it offered me free shipping. However, after I finished shopping, the shipping was included. So I emailed the CS rep. She wanted a screen shot of the free offer and about 8 or 10 emails later and about an hours time, she could not help me get the free shipping they offered! What a total waste of my time. There customer service is a total joke.

I wanted to add to my above review. I stopped buying from nomorerack. I order pillows, which turned out to be cushions with hard cardboard inside of them. I purchased a rug set that had the wrong dimensions and I found the exact set for less at Big Lots. I ordered a adult women's sweater and it was a child sized sweater. I ordered two expensive foam pillows that I found cheaper at Costgo. Too many issues with them and returns are a bit of a pain. The occasional deal you may get (most the time you can find the items cheaper in the stores) is just not worth the taking a chance on getting what they advertise. They state that the manufacturer writes the ads but the ad for the rug set with the incorrect measurements is still on the site.

Tip for consumers:
Pray you don't need customer service.
