I previously had good experiences with Jerry's Floral Shop & Greenhouses known as Jerry's Produce. Recently, for my mother who was celebrating her 42nd wedding anniversary with my father. When I called Jerry's Produce, Jerry's daughter answered I was nervous to even speak with her due to an issue that occurred on last year between us in which she made a mistake in the way she handled the situation but she apologized later. Before placing my order, I asked to speak with Linda or Wayne since they are the most friendliest associates that go above and beyond in helping me. She stated they were not there I reminded her of our previous issues and I would like to avoid it at all cost because today is a special day, my mother and fathers wedding anniversary. She agreed that she remembered the mistake and it won't happen again and that she would fix me up real nice this time. I proceeded with my order of 6 peach roses, 6 yellow roses and a balloon that said Happy Anniversary. She even told me that they the balloon in stock that said "Happy Anniversary." When my total was provided it seemed a little steep but I proceeded to give her my card details. She even asked for my telephone number as well as my mom's just in case any delays with delivery. Later on that day my mother was so happy, she called me to tell me she received her gift she sent me a picture of her gift. I noticed the balloon said "You're So Special" instead of "Happy Anniversary." The first thing came to my mind is the flowers are nice but where is the balloon that says "Happy Anniversary." The next day I called Jerry's to find out if they didn't have any in stock or maybe she mixed up my balloon order with some else's since she did mention she would "fix me up real nice." The manager answered Jeremy, I explained to him my situation he showed no empathy then had the audacity to ask me "what do you want me to do about it?" I told him I said "I don't understand why I didn't receive what I paid for and if there wasn't any balloons in stock that said "Happy Anniversary why was I sold something different?" His voice started raising and he started cursing at me I asked him "can you please refrain from talking to me like this," I even asked to speak to the owner Jerry he said "Jerry won't do anything but send you back to me because I am the manager, he then apologizes for cursing at me and then says "Would you like me to refund you your money?" I said "being that your talking to me in that kind of way why yes, please refund my money." He then proceeds to say "your trying to tell me how to do my job well guess what don't call us ever again because we will not sell to you again." I thought to myself, how am I trying to tell you how to do your job when clearly you asked me if I would like a refund?" I asked him "do you need any information from me since you will be refunding my money back he said "No just don't call us again'' and hung up on me. This was an experience that I could not have imagined to have happen with a florist that I've always purchased flowers from. Jerry's Produce YOU made the mistake, the mistake was brought to YOUR attention but YOU decided to brush it off as if it was no big deal. Well guess what Jerry's Produce, it is a big deal because it was my money and I care about what I spend my money on. And if I or anyone else were told they have an item in stock, and that's the item that they paid for then it should have been given. If there was never a balloon in stock that said "Happy Anniversary" it should have been communicated to me. I was very displeased with the customer service that was given especially when it was their mistake. Since I wasn't provided the balloon but was told that there was a Happy Anniversary balloon when that's what I paid for but was given something different is deceptive florist marketing.
