My first experience with this company was not great. Several shirts were 3/4-1" off center and one shirt had a misprint. After a week-long claim process, I was offered a merchandise credit for the items with which I was unhappy.

The second time around, I placed even larger order. During the production process, there were absolutely no updates to my order status, no way to contact ooShirts via phone and responses to social media took days (rather than hours, as they should). The shirts arrived today (a day late) and frankly I'm just very unhappy. The quality of the garments themselves is good, but overall the shirts just don't look great. The placement and size do not coincide with what I approved back in mid-November when I got my proofs. As I understood it from reading FAQ and my previous order, the image would be the same size across all garments, but that is certainly not the case. On the men's tee shirts I ordered, the print is comically large and on the women's shirts, they are considerably smaller and placed about 2 inches from the BOTTOM seam. It's such an awkward placement. The print is nearly unreadable on the green shirts and the color of the "charcoal" shirt is actually more brown than gray. On several of the shirts, there is a white line around the border where the white background does not match up with the color overprint.

Overall, my experience has just been terrible. I am not interested in going through the claims process or getting another store credit, because I can safely say I will never use this company again. If anyone ever asks, I'll tell them to be sure to avoid ooShirts like the plague.

I ordered a product from Kikkerland a couple weeks ago. After buying, I saw it on Amazon for less, so I called the company to cancel my order. After putting me on a brief hold, they told me the order had been cancelled successfully. A couple days later, I received a shipping confirmation. When I called to question, the guy I spoke to said there were no notes that the order should have been cancelled. When I brought up the less expensive price, he wouldn't match it and said that the reason their price was higher is because they have a "better return policy" than Amazon. However, I couldn't find info on a return policy anywhere on their website or in any of the emails they sent me. I ended up raising a PayPal dispute mostly based on principle and not because I was losing a ton of money. I asked that they match the price from Amazon. A couple days later, they refunded me the whole amount of the order. They probably figured since my order total was pretty low, they'd rather just cut their losses than have to deal with a long and drawn out PayPal dispute. In the end, I am happy with how they handled everything, I just wish I didn't have to raise a dispute. The product I received looks good and appears to be well constructed. We'll see how it actually holds up when we use it.

I used to write a fashion blog and ModCloth is very popular among many of my cohorts. With that said, I had never purchased anything from their website. As luck would have it I got a gift card from my sister-in-law for Christmas and immediately got on and looked around. They really do have an enormous selection of vintage-inspired clothing. I also really love that they display buyer reviews directly on the product page. They even allow customers to upload photos, which can prove to be extremely useful. I'm not sure why some reviewers are saying that those reviews are truncated or that they only display positive reviews… Almost all the items I looked at had 3/5 stars or less. That's not exactly stellar in my book. Most reviews pertained to fit, fabric and craftsmanship.

Anyway, I placed my first order last week and within 5 hours of placing it, they sent me a shipping confirmation email. Wow! Awesome! When my order arrived, the color was very different from what was on the website, but I was impressed with the quality of the garment and the fit seemed true-to-size.

Ultimately, I think most things on their website are pretty overpriced. Without another gift card or store credit of some sort, I probably won't go back and buy more…unless one particular dress goes on sale. ;) No matter how I slice it, I was really impressed with their quick order turnaround and rather large selection, even if said selection doesn't exactly fit into my personal style.

I ordered a part for my hubby's mustang in mid-December. Within a few hours, the company emailed me and said that the part wouldn't be in stock until after Christmas. They said they would ship it as soon as it came back in stock or gave me the option of cancelling my order if I wanted to. I told them to keep the order and asked if they would expedite shipping when it came in. The response said they would.

I got an email when the item came back in stock, which was the exact day the CSR estimated. It came from CA and was shipped via UPS Ground (not expedited) and I was a little bummed about that. They did, however, ship some "extras" along with the part. My hubby was really excited about the mustang keychain and the StangMods decals—he already put them on his car. He was also quite happy with the way the item was packaged and said it is exactly how Ford packs/ships the item.

Overall, I think StangMods.com is a good company. However, I do have to knock off a star because the website was not updated to reflect the stock status of the item, although I was happy I could order the item at the sale price and have it shipped when it came back in stock. I just wish there would have been a note that said something along the lines of "This item will return to stock on XX/XX. Place your order now and we'll ship it when it becomes available." Additionally, they did not expedite shipping like they promised. For the price and ease of communication, however, I will definitely buy from them again and I would recommend others do, too.

I actually really like PayPal. I use it whenever possible to make online purchases and I have so far always have good experiences. I recently did not receive an item that I ordered and I filed a dispute and escalated it to a claim. I called and emailed them throughout the course of the dispute and was always met with a friendly, helpful and most importantly English-speaking person on the other end of the line. It never sounds like they're reading from those cue-cards, either. One time I called and waited on hold for 25 minutes, which I think is a little bit ridiculous, but aside from that my calls are always handled quickly and professionally. I've never had issues transferring funds to my bank account either.

Seriously love this website. Maybe too much, if that's possible. They keep their inventory in check and their customer service is fantastic. In fact, I've ordered not one but TWO pairs of shoes from them when the listing said "ONLY 1 LEFT!" Anything I order always comes well before the estimated delivery date and the quality is always just as it's described. They are one website that I certainly never even hesitate (this is a problem, I know) to purchase from.

I had a very bad experience with IceMonkey and I would not purchase from them ever again. I would also caution others from purchasing from them either. I ordered a Kindle at the end of November. 5 days later I still did not receive a tracking number, despite the promise on their website that I would have one in 1-2 days. After I contacted IceMonkey, I got a response in 2 days with my tracking information. The tracking number seemed legit, but 6 business days later, I was still waiting on my package. Long story short it got "lost" somewhere along the line. After contacting both UPS and USPS and getting nowhere, I contacted IceMonkey and asked them to follow up, as I was instructed by UPS. After 24 business hours and no response, I opened a PayPal dispute. 48 hours later, I escalated the dispute to a claim. Again, 6 days after my follow-up email they finally got back to me and told me they would be unable or unwilling to file a claim with UPS because they used an uninsured shipping method (UPS SurePost).

I was in contact with them a couple more times over the course of the dispute. On two occasions they offered to refund my money, but they said they couldn't refund the money until I closed the PayPal dispute. I'm including this because it would be very easy for a potential buyer to get really screwed by following IceMoney's instructions. I contacted PayPal both times the seller asked me to close the claim and they instructed me NOT to close it until I was satisfied with the outcome. If you close your PayPal claim, the seller can go back and say, "Well, there's no problem. See? They closed the dispute."

Over a month after I placed my order, I was finally refunded the full purchase price thanks to PayPal.

My rating is mainly based on the seller's extreme lack of customer service and the nearly impossible task of contacting them. It's absolutely ridiculous that it would take anyone, let alone a business, 24-48 hours to get back to an email, especially when there is no other way to contact them. In my experience, it was usually much longer than the promise 24-48 hour response time anyway. It's entirely possible that this whole debacle could have been resolved sooner, but it took the seller at times a week to get back to my emails. I learned that hard way to view the "contact us" page of every website from which I intend make a purchase. If the only means of communication are an email address, I run the other way.
