I have been buying glasses from Coastal.com. In the last year I bought 7 pairs. However, one of the recently purchased pairs has what seems to be a manufacturing defect. These glasses have an anti scratch/anti blue light coating and the lenses are streaked. It is impossible to see through them. The frames are fine. I thought it would be simple to get a refund or replacement but that is not the case. The company first insisted to have a photograph of the streaks. Then they didn't like the photograph. Said it looked like scratches not streaks and I should send more photographs. I have spent over an hour to get the photos they wanted and now they told me I have to wait further for an optician to review the photos. I am shocked. I will not buy again.

Yesterday I received a reply from Coastal.com. They stated that they would not replace the lenses because "Upon checking, the warranty has lapsed the given time frame." These glasses were shipped in April 2021 and received in May 2021. Coastal offers a one year warranty for manufacturing defects. So now the company is acknowledging the manufacturing defect but refusing to honor its own warranty!

Tip for consumers:
Once you pay the money, it's just luck if you get a useable product.

I ordered an Evenflo - Top of Stairs Walk Thru Gate from Mumzworld. It arrived in its original carton. There was no protective packing and the carton was torn on one side and crushed on the opposite corner. The shipping company refused to take it back immediately. Unfortunately, shortly after the delivery, I fell and broke my foot. It was 10 days before I could deal with the damaged gate delivery. When I contacted Mumzworld they immediately cited that the replacement of the damaged safety gate had to be made within 7 days only. This is despite photos showing the shipper damage and that it had been Mumzworld's fault that the item arrived damaged due to no protective packaging. This is a child safety gate which Mumzworld didn't care to pack and handle appropriately. Bottom line - this company wants to move boxes with no care for the safety of its customers.

UPDATE: Three days after this review went public, Mumzworld contacted me. They agreed to take the gate back and after another few days agreed to issue a credit and then to send a new gate. However, when it arrived I saw that the replacement gate wasn't packaged in a protective outer covering - the same as the first gate. It was just lucky that the shipper didn't drop it this time. Additionally, I was offered a credit only and not a refund. I would be very careful if deciding to purchase from this company.

Please read all return terms and conditions carefully. If you decide to order and the box arrives with the slightest damage do not open it

OSN advertises that customers can record content they like to their OSN boxes with a premium subscription. Now we can't view any content recorded September 2020 and before! We keep getting error 4a when we try to view the recorded shows. OSN made a horrible interface "upgrade" at that time and apparently all downloaded content was damaged. OSN support is telling us to delete and download again from OSN on Demand but that content is not available. OSN is a horrible company. They charge a massive amount of money for a subscription and then take away content whenever they feel like it. Disgusting!

Use Netflix not OSN

I have had extreme problems with Souq.com
Two items ordered in the White Saturday Sale were taken away from me one order was outright cancelled and the other order was claimed to be returned. In both cases the item was available at the site for a higher price and the souq.com representative told me to purchase it again at the higher price. Such behavior is against the law in Saudi Arabia.
The souq.com delivery drivers are rude to customers. They deliver orders without signature or ID. They pretend not to be able to find locations and they cancel orders that they dont feel like delivering.
Souq.com sells designer goods as new when they are actually used.

I live in the Khuzama area of Al Khobar.
The Souq.com drivers try EVERYTHING NOT TO DELIVER.
I am an old lady and I am home all day with my phone beside me.
With the first order #*******007 the driver came and just dropped off the boxes in the street and left without taking any signature from me or asking for any ID. You can see that there was no signature taken if you compare to the next order #*******551
For that next order #*******551 the driver tried hard not to deliver the order. First he demanded that I send my location on What's App. When I wouldn't do that he kept pretending to get lost. I told him clearly - Please come off the highway at Al Khuzama and make the right at Bank Al Ahli (NCB). Go straight down the street and pass Tamimi Safeway and Al Dawa Pharmacy and keep going straight through the intersection. See the Bokhari Restaurant on the left side and make a left at that street. That is Abu Ishaq Ibn Baks Street. Please call me at that time and I will come out to the street and wait for you.
He went to the wrong location and I had to call him to give him directions again. Then finally he made me wait in the street for 30 minutes. I waited. Finally he arrived and I was pitifully grateful that he showed up.
Now my latest order has been cancelled, supposedly because I rejected the order. But that is not true. I was not contacted to accept the delivery. That order is #*******914. It's simply a scam not to deliver the order. I asked for the order to be sent back to me but I was told that was not possible. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that was not possible. I asked for my funds to be refunded to my credit card and was told that was not possible.
The order that was not delivered (#*******914) and that was taken away from me was ordered during the White Saturday Sale. I was also cheated out of other items that I purchased during the White Saturday sale. I ordered a Sony Television during the White Saturday sale on order number #*******379. That TV order was cancelled by Souq.com with the claim that the television was not available. But no surprise. The same day that the order was cancelled by Souq.com I was able to order the exact same television but for SR285 more on order #*******189. So the "Sale" was just a scam.
Additionally, I have written to the brand holder of Calvin Klein Cosmetics to advise them that the CK BE perfume ordered in order #*******703 came without its outer plastic wrapping and is most likely either used or fake although it was sold as new and I paid for a new item. They should prevent souq.com company from selling their products.
I have never used Souq.com before the White Saturday sale but it has been an education. I will be putting a complaint to the Saudi Ministry of Commerce for fraud in selling.
