Yes, it all already sounds ferociously and hellaciously seedy. As if Greendot wasn't bad enough an assortment of similar "online debit card" accounts have reared their revolting and nightmare-inducingly amateurish heads out of the woodwork.

Varos.com: one I tried after realizing Simple could not be more aptly named. (They move roughly at the speed of a mid 90s credit union in regards to setting up direct deposit, posting transactions, etc)

Varos promised more what I was used to, being of too dire financial/credit status to attain a "real bank account" at this time: 2 days early direct deposit, 50 bucks FREE overdraft protection (must have 1000 or more in deposits a month plus 5 card transactions; reasonable enough though) and NO FEES (why greendot got the boot, 9.95 a month for doing NOTHING no reachable customer service even, plus unrecognized by most state of the art financial players as even being a bank.) anyway SOUNDS GOOD RIGHT?

Well here I sit now without my direct deposit being where it should be, the realization slowly dawning on me with horror that either Varos moves at a glacial speed to confirm deposit info with my company (which theyve had days to do) or their "two days early direct deposit!" Is actually far slower than $#*!ING GREENDOT WHO WOULD'VE HAD MY MONEY ALREADY GOOD TO GO!

In conclusion, these online banks "shouldnt write checks with their mouths that their $#*! cant cash" as my father was fond of telling me, and hopefully you all suck less at life enough to stay far away.

Happy 2020 all the best!

Well my feelings may have come across rather bluntly in my title so I apologize for my brevity but I will at least state my case to the extent such a thing is possible.

First off I am not a "paying member"; so, as is so often the case in these bait and switch... Excuse me "dating sites" I suspect $#*!ery like it's second nature. God forbid people pursue physical/emotional happiness via the once "free" internet without pulling the ol' plastic out of the wallet. So I will focus on two things here in the next couple paragraphs that I feel are only worth my energy to save fellow humans (particularly men) from falling into this polluted fishing hole.

First off, obviously, the aforementioned ocean between the perfectly reasonable and detailed profile you can make "for free" (cause no one pays internet bills right) and the "upgraded status." Now I fell into this on adultfriendfinder.com because their restrictions are far more extreme; if you don't pay a dime, you ain't doing jack, and if you DO, be prepared to pay more to get a realistic chance at any kind of meaningful human interaction on the regular. POF let's you make a profile that should serve its purpose and end there but of course greed rears its ever present ugly head, and paying them for various memberships supposedly gets you more visible and your messages go to the top.

Nevermind that a message sent should be immediately visible regardless. They could come up with a dozen other perks for the desperate suckers with loose wallets. Similarly to my experience in AFF, I used a control group of hideous women, messaged them nice and inoffensive things and... Nada. No I'm not a male model but I'm far from a gremlin. Because occasionally women (some admittedly decent but far from local? And wtf there?) sent me messages seemingly without issue. Basically, pay to get thru. I call bs. Craigslist never made you pay to message for a job, housing, etc. things that are true life necessities so you don't, ya know, starve and die homeless. These dating sites have to cut the $#*!.

That got more long-winded than I wanted so regarding the actual "women" you may actually communicate with to varying degrees on POF... well. I'll save my breath and refer you to a review below posted by one "Waller K." The man has a way with words regarding that topic and there are certainly many entitled females on the site who deserve every cutting syllable and then some. Online datings quite the $#*! show. I guess if I never relocate I have to be content with the local drug addicted barfly trash I have been through and trying to get away from. Alas, happy fishing should you choose to do so anyway.

Of course I did it not completely sober one night. Out of curiousity of course but hey we all thought "Hmmm... Wouldnt this be great if legit?!" Signed up for "Gold" for a $15... oh. $45 dollar one month. This wasn't unexpected. Make my profile, use some of my best pics (I'm 36 and average shape; not a gremlin but no male model type things besides my eyes apparently which probably saved me some potential sexual frustration ha.) I was in those first couple days becoming close to being impressed. I knew not to expect floods of females trying to pile on me. If they had, red flag from hell right? I kept noticing Asian women "viewing" saying they were actually IN that part of the world. My guess is for more naive guys this helps keep their confidence and interest going. Who knows. Not too bad, makes sense. Had an actual exchange with a real chick nearby. Nothing fishy there either. Almost met up but I could tell sge was one of those camera angle wizards... They usually sadly end up twice that size on meeting. Not to hate. Just not my thing...

After about the first week innumerable things have unveiled the usual third world corrupt hell hole tactics. Not the least of which now suddenly the site (at least on mobile) suddenly behaves like a 1999 web designer watched a 30 min video on web design on futuristic magical phones... Does not load. For. Jack. $#*!.

I got more but duty calls. I do want to suggest something I wish I could spread like the plague (IF YOU OWNERS OF SITES LIKE THIS WANT TO HAVE AN OUNCE OF REPUTATION: YOU ARE CHARGING PEOE MORE THAN A MFING NETFLIX FEE A MONTH! NO GLITCHES! ALSO I THINK IM ONTO SOMETHING WITH THIS: IF A WOMAN OR MAN RECEIVES AND READS A MESSAGE FROM AN INTERESTED PERSON AND THEY AREN'T FEELING THE SAME, OK OF COURSE. BUT BEFORE GOING AT ALL THEY DAMN WELL SHOULD HAVE TO WRITE A QUICK "NO" AND A LITTLE EXPLANATION! THIS IS CALLED COURTESY BUT ALSO WOULD VERIFY PEOPLE AS ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS! YOU'RE WELCOME. Anyway they suck. Cant believe its allowed in 2018. More later perhaps. Best of luck!
