I contacted getaroom.com, thinking it was the Hyatt guest reservation number... my mistake for not looking closer, but they made no effort to disclose this was a third party number (again its my bad for not asking, I guess). I needed to add a night to an already made group reservation and they were so eager to assist me. Needless to say, the room was a higher price, but I needed the night and figured I would go ahead and book, again still thinking it was Hyatt and it was the best I would do (My bad for trusting the internet search, you got me Getaroom.com, hope your are proud of your business model).

I then found out I could have gotten it way cheaper through a different site. I called customer service to see if there was any way to get a refund, of course that was denied. I tried to ask who exactly makes the "no-refund" policy and that's when the rep got really evasive with answering questions, and tried to steer the conversation elsewhere putting words in my mouth, I called him on it and he started to get offended. I asked to speak to a supervisor but "they were all busy." I eventually was given the "max one-time 15% discount" for my "trouble." The evasiveness on the phone was very apparent, It seemed like I was not the first person who had this type of experience. Never once did they offer to have a supervisor call me back, they just kept saying that they were all busy with other customers.

**Buyer beware** Always double check who you are dealing with

UPDATE: I was contacted by customer service after posting the above review. The customer service rep was much more understanding of the situation and listened to my concerns without all of the run around. She advised me the initial reps I worked with were most likely from an out of country call center and she was going to pass along my concerns with how the business is being conducted with them. She was much more friendly and was able to do the leg work to get me a full re-fund, for this I am grateful.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure you know who you are dealing with. Ask if it is a third party or go directly to the actual hotel website. (it will look like that's where you are going on a google search and they won't volunteer that they aren't the hotel).
