I ordered a birthday present for my husband that was over $500.---Hard saved for money for me. They sent a ship notice with Fedex tracking. Item never arrived the day specified and I couldn't get info from Fedex despite trying daily. I finally emailed Acme just to let them know that there was no tracking update info. I was told that IF my order did not arrive in 3 days I should "take it up with Paypal"! (I used paypal to pay). I was gobsmacked. So, they figured that my not receiving what I ordered and paid for was not their problem? I just never had any reputable company do this to me before. I knew then that I could not trust them, and I called Paypal immediately and read them the email from Acme. They too thought it was pretty bad. They were great, and said that IF I did not receive my order within 3 more days they would personally file a claim for me, and not to worry. Acme is completely UNPROFESSIONAL, with horrible 'customer service'. I was finally able to get some news from Fedex and SUPPOSEDLY my order is to be delivered today. Despite this, this company could care less, and took my money and then washed their hands of any responsibility for making sure I received what was ordered. I do NOT recommend them and I will never order/buy from them again.

BEWARE. CHECK THEIR REVIEWS ONLINE. SCAMMERS!

I ordered an expensive Dyson item on the big black Friday sale and received a confirmation of my order and payment, and that it would be shipped within a day or two. I never heard anything else and after a week I called them. They then told me it was being shipped 'by one of their sellers' and they would email them and get them to contact me. WHAT? Their seller emailed me and said they 'didn't have the color' in the order (there was NO choice when ordering), and they said they 'only had purple'. I told them I didn't care what color I got, and why hadn't someone contacted me and told me any of this. They had no answer. They said since I would take the purple, they would 'ship is right away'. The next thing I know, a couple hours later I received another email saying they cancelled my order! It was now too late to find this popular hair dryer/styler anywhere else; They were sold out all over and all the sale prices were over. I ORDERED THROUGH NEWEGG AND THEY TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING SURE I RECEIVED MY ORDER OR EVEN TO CONTACT ME!
There was no explanation as to why they just cancelled it after telling me it would 'ship right away'. If I hadn't called them a week or more after placing the order, I would still be waiting for something they had no intention of shipping. Suspiciously, I now see that the SAME DYSON PRODUCT IS LISTED FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE, AS IT WAS, ONLY NOW IT IS $100. MORE!
They obviously are NOT sold out! I can only conclude that they cancelled my order so they could now sell the item at the more expensive price. I would NEVER deal with these people again. PLEASE, if you read this, Newegg is a huge scam and they are crooks. DO NOT give them your business.

I bought an antique on their site. I received emails stating that the item would be shipped within a couple weeks. We waited longer than that and then emailed them several times. They then told us that the because the seller "lived in a remote area" they didn't know when they could "get a shipper to go there". (The seller lives in Idaho, not far from Pocatello, and on major local highways.) I pressed for some kind of time frame and they evaded answering. Finally we had to request a full refund as we knew they had no intention of shipping the item. (The original charge to our bank is attached below. They charged us immediately upon buying and never shipped). They did not return phone calls unless threatened. We are very disappointed that we now will not get the antique item we bought and paid for (including shipping) in good faith. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SITE!

On Saturday, March 13,2021 I went to JOANN'S ONLINE website. I wanted to purchase a couple items so put them in my cart and tried to check out. I was paying using Paypal. After going through the payment processing, I clicked the button to confirm the order, but a box popped up with red letters stating that MY ORDER COULD NOT GO THROUGH DUE TO PAYMENT NOT ACCEPTED, AND TO "TRY AGAIN".
I did this, going through the checkout as instructed. AGAIN, A MESSAGE IN RED APPEARED TELLING ME THAT NO ORDER COULD BE COMPLETED AND PAYMENT WAS NOT ACCEPTED. AGAIN IT SAID "TRY AGAIN".
By this time I had had enough and I left the site, not having made any purchase.

I then received TWO emails from Paypal saying that Joanns had charged me TWO TIMES FOR 2 ORDERS THAT DID NOT GO THROUGH! Paypal cannot remove them. I spoke to them and they said Joann's had to delete them from my Paypal account since they did not process any orders, but did take payment EVEN THOUGH THEIR WEBSITE CHECKOUT SAID THEY DID NOT. (I never received any emails or confirmations of any kind from Joanns).

JOANN'S OWES ME A REFUND TO MY PAYPAL ACCT. OF $31.94.

I HAVE JUST FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM WITH BBB IN HUDSON OHIO TODAY, MARCH 16.

I have just filed a complaints at several places over our order for a refrigerator July 8. Their site sail "delivery 2-3 days". Weeks later, they told us "Oh, that is only for the NY city area"! Funny how this was not alluded to whatsoever on their site. We tried to get delivery info from them and also from FragilePak, the carrier, who have ignored us and did not answer our email.

We were told by this Co. That our appliance would be picked up by the shipper and on it's way to us by Monday, July 20. This did not happen. They finally said it was "picked up on the 21st, and was on the way". They told us we would be contacted about delivery BY JULY 29 at the latest, but this never happened. We were told delivery should be made around that time.
We were told over a week ago that this appliance was "ON IT'S WAY" TO US! This was contradicted the other day by 'Gary' who said it was going to "a terminal" and would be "put on a truck when one is going to your area". There is NO TRACKING for this item at all.
Tracking means showing delivery PROGRESS---LOCATIONS, TIMES, ETC.! There is NONE of this whatsoever.
We have now learned our item never left the warehouse in NJ, as of 8/3/2020. Will not purchase from these people again or recommend them. NO excuse for the different and conflicting stories, the delay in shipping and the misleading shipping info.
Update 8/5/2020: After dealing with continual lies from this company and their shipper, we contacted both and told them that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD WE ACCEPT DELIVERY OF THE APPLIANCE. (Their shipper, FragilePak also has horrible reviews everywhere!). AFTER WAITING A MONTH FOR A REFRIGERATOR, IT WAS TOO LATE AND WE WANTED AN IMMEDIATE REFUND. WE HAD ALREADY FILED COMPLAINTS WITH BBB AND CONSUMER DIV/ATTY GEN. OFFICE/NY STATE. WE GOT OUR REFUND. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE LIARS AND SCAMMERS. THEY ARE EVEN RED FLAGGED BY THE BBB!

I am extremely disappointed. We have ordered trees from you before. This time the med. Honeycrisp price was raised. I had a large in my cart a week ago and you accepted a promo code but I had to wait until payday. Now I could only get a Med. Size and you not only would not accept any discount codes, but I was also charged a " shipping insurance" (?!) fee that I NEVER was before. All this made our order far more than expected.

How totally crummy. You advertise the new EMMA at home on demand this weekend. We hoped to watch it but you are charging $19.99! With hours cut due to Covid19 and lost pay, we sure can't afford that, and I bet a lot of others can't either. If you really cared about your customers and the fact that this virus is causing a lot of misery and hardship you would have charged a nominal $2.99. It would have helped many of us maybe get away from our troubles for a couple hours watching something good. Thumbs down to you.

I ordered a rigid vinyl stair nosing, and some idiot folded it up multiple times and jammed it into a tiny box! Now it is permanently bent and creased and is NOT usable! This has to be glued and you can't even get it back into shape to where you could even glue it!

To make matters worse, you cannot call them. You have to email them with any issue.
I am a contractor doing a job and now I can't use this item. UNBELIEVABLE!
So far no one has responded to my emails.

Like so many others, I would not give Sears any stars if that were possible. A Sears repairman, Errol, had to come the other day to find out what why our kind-of-pricey (for us), LG dishwasher that is less than a year and a half old, wasn't working---again. He fiddled with the bottom and said there was power to it, so he would have to check it further. After telling us it was $99. Just to come and find the issue, he NOW said it would be ANOTHER $50. To 'look at other areas of it to find the problem'! Are you kidding me? (So now it was $149. Just to find out what the problem was---and this was NOT what was ever said to us when we called for repair appt.)! I was shocked at that, and it didn't seem right, but I said to go ahead. After a few minutes (he couldn't even get the dishwasher out of it's spot until I fiddled with a screw myself, as my husband was at work)! He then said it was one of 2 parts (both unreasonably and extremely expensive). He now had the thing in pieces, when he casually said "I will see which it is and then come back in about 2 weeks and fix it". I was again surprised, and I told him that I thought it was odd and unprofessional of him to go through all of this and to not have told me AT THE OUTSET WHEN HE FIRST CAME AND MENTIONED THAT IT WAS 'ONE OF 2 THINGS', THAT HE DID NOT HAVE ANY PARTS, AND COULD NOT FIX THE MACHINE THAT DAY, AND THAT IT WOULD BE ANOTHER 10 DAYS TO 2 WEEKS. This repair man was a complete idiot, and a liar as well. He got immediately huffy when I said that, as if a woman should never have the temerity to question him. He became loud and defensive immediately, and interrupted anything I tried to say. He said "well, I am not comfortable so I am going to put the machine back together and leave." I said "fine, but I am NOT paying you one dime. You did nothing". He then started to put the machine back, and while laying on my kitchen floor, sang 'We All Live in a Yellow Submarine' the entire time! Yes, folks, this is 100% true! He was really creeping me out by this time. He knew that he was in the wrong, and just left. (I noticed he did NOT file anything with Sears, and most surely lied about doing anything here, probably saying he never came in). After he left, I noticed he did NOT correctly put the kick plate back at the bottom of the dishwasher! It was splayed out, and one screw was lying on the kitchen floor. *(BY THE WAY, I IMMEDIATELY TOOK PHOTOS OF THIS AND I HAVE THEM). With the huge fee to just look at the dishwasher and what he was quoting me for what it could be, the bill IF REPAIRED, would have been well over $500.! THANK GOD I DIDN'T PAY HIM A DIME. (Later that day we ordered a Kitchen Aid dishwasher on sale at Home Depot). It's unfortunate that we had to get a new one, but it cost about what Sears stupid repair would have! Repairman 'Errol' is creepy and weird, not to mention unprofessional and intimidating, and Sears is the WORST retailer ever. As for their repair service, they are also as bad as they come. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and hire your service people from somewhere else. I am sorry this is so long, but I really wanted to let people know about our miserable experience with Sears Appliance Repair Service.(Needless to say we would never buy an LG appliance, or ANYTHING FROM SEARS, ever).

Will NEVER shop or order from them again. I have no car. Ordered a shirt I needed 3 days later, and paid $22. For shipping THEY GUARANTEED WOULD BE DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY. (Even 2 days would have been alright.) I received a FORM EMAIL FROM THEM 24 HOURS LATER SAYING THEY COULD NOT DELIVER AS PROMISED AND THAT MY ORDER HAD NOT BEEN SHIPPED! By that time it was too late to order elsewhere and I had no car to go out looking. They made no attempt to offer a refund of the outrageous shipping I paid only because I desperately needed item quickly. I am currently calling them to insist on a full refund of my shipping. IRRESPONSIBLE, AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Shop somewhere else!

We hired Carroll County Construction and Exteriors---NickLaganas---(Ossipee, Wolfeboro NH) to re-side our home on Feb. 1,2017 after they came and spent a good amount of time looking at our house and submitted a detailed contract. They finally started the job in July 2017. After only a few days on the job, the owner demanded more money---a substantial amount, that he was not entitled to as per contract.
When we refused, he pulled his workers off the job with no notice at all. He had about 3/4 of the payment in full for the job already. He left us with a 3/4 unfinished house, parts open to the weather. In addition while working his workers damaged other areas on our property that they said they would fix but did not.
This man broke an explicit signed contract and attempted to hold us and our home hostage. He demanded additional payment of close to $4000., or almost half again the contract, and then said that that still might not be enough.He underestimated the job and then refused to honor a legally binding contract.
He also submitted bills for the extra work we agreed to due to unforeseen wood rot, etc., but never would itemize or substantiate the amount, expecting us to pay whatever they told us.We are still determining further action. We hope that people will read this and not get involved with this dishonest company and end up with financial loss and misery. They are completely unethical and dishonest.We contacted our local building inspector, who knew about this guy and was inferred that he was not good. We found another contractor who finished our job with our help. We cannot stress enough that you should NOT EVER hire Nick Laganas/ Carroll Co. Construction and Exteriors.

They sent me an item significantly different from what was pictured. I had paid for expedited shipping, which they ignored and sent at their convenience days later. It was NOT shipped promptly. I had asked customer service about the item before ordering and was assured it was a long TUNIC, as pictured. What they sent me was a cropped top with different sleeves and coloration. They did not resond to my return request and request for a label. I shipped the item back to the seller the next day, with all tags and paperwork attached, and in the same package, at my own expense. I sent it to the address for returns that they list on their site. I then filed a Paypal claim to get my refund. Today the seller contacted me directly which is not allowed, and told me I could NOT have a refund, and to drop my Paypal claim! Seriously? This is exactly why I filed one. I did NOT respond, of course. Have tracked the return, and they will have it today. Hoping to get my refund from Paypal. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. The items sent often do not look at all like those pictured and their customer service is non-existent!

We were local fairly consistent customers, but we would now never give this company a dime of our business. They are unprofessional in the extreme with the WORST customer service ever! We told them last year on more than one occasion NOT to deliver fuel to us automatically, but to wait until we requested it. Despite that, they delivered it without our knowledge or consent. The DRIVER was privy to personal information regarding our account that is none of his business. In addition to this, he wrote the charges for said delivery erroneously, putting the decimal point in the wrong spot, which resulted in a misunderstanding that caused us to email the company. The "customer service rep" is the most obnoxious, ignorant, woman. She was surly and sarcastic, acting like we were stupid in a series of about 10 rapid fire emails. At first we tried to patiently correct and explain to her, but it became apparent that she couldn't or would not READ. She quickly became abusive and sarcastic in the extreme. The girl has absolutely no 'people skills' and is just too, well, stupid, to do this job! After so many of her snotty, patronizing, and downright idiotic emails, I had had enough and told her I would not read or respond to anymore. We blocked her, and IMMEDIATELY went to a couple other fuel companies and registered. Fuel is far too expensive. Who needs a dose of cavalier abuse and disrespect along with a whopper bill?

I would give them 0 stars if I could. This was my first and LAST experience with Belk. I ordered a dress that I wanted and that was at Nordstrom but with shoes I bought, the Belk price was about $20. Less. BIG MISTAKE. The dress did fit weirdly, as reviews suggested, and the size wouldn't work but I loved the dress and decided to exchange it. This was an online order; I do not live near Belk stores. I called customer service the day the dress arrived to make arrangements to return it. The man explicitly told me that I would be emailed a shipping label, to return the dress, and a new one would be automatically sent to me. First, I waited 4 days before they finally sent the shipping label. I mailed the item back immediately. I noticed on their site that they only had 2 of the dresses left in the size I wanted and I was concerned I might not get one. I simply didn't have the money to order ANOTHER dress and be out more money even temporarily. This second call was disaster. I was put on hold numerous times by the latest customer service rep for a total of about 15 min. I was then cut off while waiting for a manager. I didn't call back. By this time I had had it. I did email them explaining what happened. This time they gave me a COMPLETELY CONTRADICTORY STORY. They said I would NOT be sent an exchange as promised. They said I had to place a whole new order. Well, not only would I have to wait for my refund to do that, but the dress was NOT listed at the sale price that I had paid because I bought 2 items. I was stressed and completely disgusted.
They were very 'meh' in their response to me, like 'who cares'? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I ordered the dress from Nordstrom. I paid a few dollars more, but honestly it was worth it! Nordstroms has always been fantastic with no hassles like this, ever.
BOTTOM LINE: I will never shop at Belk again or recommend them.
