I Placed an order with GrubHub, and they gave me a 60 to it 90 minutes delivery period. A half-hour past the expected delivery time, I called customer service to see what was going on. I was told that the problem was with the restaurant and that our food would be delivered within a half hour. Another hour goes by before 2 frantic and petrified looking women from the restaurant, not a GrubHub delivery person delivered my order. I was told by these women that GrubHub called in our order about 45 minutes before they made the delivery. Evidently, someone is lying, and I'm inclined to believe its GrubHub, and here's why. I paid GrubHub to make the delivery, hence food delivery service. The restaurant that we ordered from does not deliver. Ever. So why did the restaurant workers delivery the food? I also gave GrubHub a tip that is supposed to go to the delivery person, and they looked at me like I was 7 kinds of crazy when I mentioned that we gave GrubHub a tip for them. GrubHub if your reading this, this tip should go to the restaurant worker who delivered our food, not your company. GrubHub gave us a $10 coupon, but we won't be using it. I abhor dishonesty.

My advice to everyone is to beware of this company. I purchased 2 items from Azbro.com, and if I took the time to search for reviews, I would have saved my money. I purchased 2 large sweatshirts from this company. The 2nd week after the purchase I received 1 of the shirts. The tag inside of the shirt was cut off, so the size was not on it, but looking at the shirt, it was evident that it was small and not a large. Two weeks after that, I received the second shirt which was totally different from what I purchased. After I received the first shirt, I tried to sign on to their website, and low and behold, my account did not work. Will never purchase from this company again. Pretty unsavory.

This hotel is in a good location. Only a block away from Madison Square Garden. Located near food and shopping. The lobby and elevators are beautifully decorated and the check-in was quick and efficient.

But…. We reserved a suite with a Queen sized bed and a sofa bed and was given one with a queen sized bed only. We called the front desk to either get the right room or a rollaway bed, and were told that they were all booked up and had no rollaway beds available. There were three of us and one person had to sleep on the floor. For the price that we paid, this was unacceptable.

The television did not have sound, and they sent maintenance up to look at it, but the problem was not fixed, we were told that it must be a problem with the cable company. And that was it. Nothing else. Zilch. We ended up using the closed caption feature while we watched which totally sucked.

The next morning, I talked to the manager during checkout, and she pretty much did not care about my complaints. Really, she might as well hunched her shoulders and said "Oh well. What do you expect me to do about it?" For all the concern, she showed.

Absolutely would not go to this hotel again.

My husband visited this location for a nasal infection and said they were fast and efficient, so I thought I would come here instead of going to the emergency room or my doctor's office.

Boy was that a mistake. I had stepped on something at work, and thought that I had gotten it out of my foot. A couple months later, the spot was tender and I had a sharp pain that felt like I was stepping on a needle. I called Patient First and told them the situation and asked if they could lance and extract it. I was put on hold while the receptionist went to check. When she returned, I was told, "Yes we can certainly extract something from your foot." When I went to the office, I told them again that I had stepped on something, that I thought that I had taken it out, but now I believed that something might still be in there. I asked them if they could take it out, and was once again told, "Sure we can definitely do this."

The two young women who greeted me were a little salty, but I figured, okay, no problem, as long as they can get this thing out of my freaking foot, they can be as salty as the Dead Sea.

The check in went smoothly. The woman taking the financial info was patient and friendly. The intake nurse was quick, efficient and kind. After checking in, and having my vitals checked, it only took a few minutes before I was led back to one of the rooms to await a doctor. Not long after being led to a room, a doctor's assistant arrived. She felt my foot, and told me that she could definitely feel something in it, and that they needed to do an x-ray before they went any further.

When the doctor's assistant came in to check the x-ray she turns to me and says "I don't see anything on the x-ray, but I do kind of feel it… unfortunately… we don't like to cut and extract things from peoples feet because of the bacteria that grows there. Did you try ibuprofen?"

UH? WHAT THE HAM AND CHEESE? Um, did I not call and ask if you people could help me before even coming here? Did I not ask the staff at the front desk before I even checked in if they could take this crap out of my foot? Who the hell even thinks to take an aspirin when they have a sliver of something stuck in their hand or foot? She just stood there with this demented little smile on her face, and it took everything in me not to snap. I was so angry that I just took the paperwork that they gave me and left.

The next day, I got a needle, a bottle of peroxide, some Neosporin, put on my big girl panties and dug that sucker out.

I honestly felt as if they just had me come there to charge a fee, and did not care what my situation was. Needless to say. I will NEVER, EVER GO TO OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AGAIN.

I placed an order for a gift card on Talbots.com. I needed it sent to me before the next day because we were meeting with the recipient and wanted to have it in hand along with a thank you card.

There was a glitch on their website and I had to call several times to get this straightened out, before I finally decided to cancel my order, and shop elsewhere.

After requesting to speak to a supervisor, she quickly apologized for the mistake and inconvenience and issued a refund. Ten minutes later one of the customer service rep called me and asked for the address of the person that the gift was going to as well as my own. They wanted to send both her and me a gift card as a way of apologizing. I was so surprised at the generous offer that I went to the brick and mortar store to purchase the gift card for my friend, and was more surprised when a week later I received a wonderful gift card in the mail.

Super customer service.;-)

I've been a Guru member since 2005, and have used their service getting great results until recently. Not long ago, I hired a contractor to do a writing project for me. It took a week before he informed me he was starting my project, which was supposed to be completed in two weeks or less. I contact Guru to see if I could cancel the award for the job and hire another contractor. This was in mid October and it is now the beginning of December and I have yet to hear from them. And my two week job, is now a two month and running job. The only reason I'm sticking with it is because I don't know how to get my money out of the escrow account. After this, I will never use this service again.
