Live in MA. Went to Scrubadub car wash to have car washed. For some reason, car lunged forward and smashed into car in front of me in tunnel. They had video of my car accelerating. Attendant stated my car was in drive and I showed him it was in neutral. So MA has a law on safe driver credit that charges you with an accident if damage claim exceeds $1000 for 2 cars. So mine was $680 and other persons was $800. If I had paid claim out of pocket on my car which I have $500 deductible on anyway, I would have not gotten the surcharge. However, at the time of the accident, I didn't feel it was my fault. So Travelers paid $180 of the claim on my car. I had my agent call Travelers to rescind the claim and they said they would not do it. So now I'm on the hook for about $300/year for 5 years. They are greedy only wanting more money rather than working with their client. They should have also investigated how many of these types of accidents happen at this car wash and what else could have caused it since I was definitely in neutral, but I can't prove it

Purchased LG washing machine from Lowe's. They said it was a special order and that LG is very slow at getting them products. Allison in appliance sales was very good and knowledgeable on products. She gave me a price match to an online retailer and asked if I wanted to puchase new hoses as they can not reuse old hoses. Since I had recently replaced hoses on old washer with stainless steel hoses, I declined. After 4 weeks, I got a call that the appliance would be delivered on a Sunday. Really? Happy to get it, as we have been doing wash at neighbors and our dirty clothes were piling up. Well it was not Lowes that did delivery. They subcontract to a company called XPO. This is where things went south. Took old washing machine, put in new machine, and were leveling it without a level!. How do you do that? Gave them my level, and after about 45min, they couldn't get it level. They hooked up electric and drain hose (improperly) and started to leave when I asked if machine was ready to go. They said no, the water lines needed hooking up. So why did they hook anything up? If I hadn't asked, my wife would have ruined the pump running the machine without water. Called my son to help me go back and relevel the machine correctly as at this point, I started reading the installation instructions to find out it must be perfectly level. Not only did they not level it correctly, they didn't lock the nuts against the bottom of the machine as the manual states. After 4 hours, my son and I got it level. Noted on the side of the machine were scratches and a dent on this brand new machine. Unsure if the installers did it or I did it, but they are there. Complained to Lowes about the horrible experience of installation. They put me in touch with the manager at XPO, the trucking co. After tel tag for 3 days, got absolutely no help from them. They stated there guys do not level machines and would not answer when pressed why they did it. Also I pointed out that they did not leave the special leveling wrench included with the washer that made it much much more difficult for me to install and level. She stated she doesn't know anything about that. She stated that my problem is with Lowes, which I have to say, she was right about as they are the ones that sold the machine and arranged for delivery. So I met with store manager who stated and was corroborated by several store employees, that they have had very poor experiences with this trucking company. The manager encouraged me to reach out to Lowes corporate, which I did. I asked the customer service rep to connect me to someone who could affect change on their delivery policy. She esentially refused and stated she would pass it on. I explained in detail everything that happened and after asking her 3 times to take my name and phone number and have a higher up call me, she finally did. Now 2 days since I called and I have not received a phone call. If they call this customer service, I won't be doing business with them again. Don't like giving anyone poor reviews, but XPO is worthless. Checked with the better business bureau and they have had 169 complaints in 3 years, 80 in the past year, and many still not resolved. Lowes is aware of this and still does business with them? Local Lowes people were good. Corporate gets a zero.
