Current Customers Get Ripped Off
So here's a funny story I called Spectrum today because my bill went up I was told when I got my internet turned on that I had the highest speed in my area, HAHA well my internet went up from $52 a month to 73 so I called and they said that's because the 52 was only for 12 months and I said okay what can I do to lower my bill and they said nothing! I said well can I go to a slower internet they said I already had the slowest in my area! Which made me literally laugh out loud! Because they told me it was the highest speed in my area, So i said well i got a letter in the maiul that quotes tv and internet for less then im paying for just internet can i have that? She says no thats only for new customers. Really? Why is my name on it.?
I was in told that I could not have the offer that was mailed to me in the mail addressed to Marsha Lee Joy or current resident because that was only for new customers WOW. So I said so should I just pay off my bill and cancel and then come back and be a new customer? They literally told me that was the only way I could ever lower my bill lower than $70 a month!
When I had DirecTV and was paying $119 a month for satellite and internet I could call every 3 months and they would give me whatever offer they were offering their new customers!
So because I am not a new customer and have been a customer with Spectrum for a year I cannot get a lower rate under $70 at all. From their mouths I said so there is nothing less than $70 a month for internet at all and they told me not unless I was a new customer just wow
I spoke to FOUR DIFFERENT PEOPLE AT SPECTRYM ALL OF THEM TOLD ME THE SAME THING GET REAL I AM NOW SEARCHING FOR A NEW INTERNET COMPANY
