I ordered the "Mix-Kit" coordinated tunics and leggings for my grand daughter. Uniforms are so much more practical, and her schools in the South required them. In the North, however, her school allows any clothes except skin-tight leggings with a short top. I get it. With such a crazy world, who wants to have the young girls parade around like that. The tunics in the Mix-Kit line are perfect, and when OshKosh has a sale, you can get the items at an embarrassingly low price. Also, their pajamas are great. Carters and OshKoshBgosh have always had quality products, especially their 100% cotton items.

In the present state of "Retail Armageddon," I long for businesses that put the customer first. Hammacher Schlemmer has maintained that reputation for years. First, you do not have to assemble. It comes flat in a box, you open it, lock it in place, and "voila," you have affordable, classy protected front porch outdoor seating. I can finally sit on the front porch with my coffee and watch the clouds. Does it get any better than that for a senior citizen? (aka Baby Boomer, but not a rich one)

I know that everyone uses Amazon, even I end up doing so. However, I wish I did not have to. Amazon has been the main contributor to the "Retail Armageddon." Sometimes I used to go to sites that seemed to carry exclusively, for example, lamps. When you peel back the layers of the site, however, you realize it is Amazon, setting up bogus sites. Amazon has no conscience. They used to sell even whale meat. When is enough?
