This may be an unusual message, but I wanted to thank you for all you do for free.

Although I have never purchased any of your products I participated in your webcasts and read your messages most days.

My story is this. I was in technology sales for many years and at the worst time possible I had to deal with a health issue that knocked me out of the game for two years. Yep, 52 years old and looking for a job again. I eventually took a job completely unrelated to my experience while searching for the right one.

In the meantime, using your free advice I chipped away at my resume and LinkedIn profile until I took them from a "summary of my experience" to easy to read and achievement based. While doing this I was reaching out to my network taking every interview, even if I wasn't really interested so I could practice and be prepared for the next one.

Well, it finally paid off. I landed a great job back in technology this week with an up and coming web hosting company. Two and a half times pay raise, remote working and great benefits.

There is no part of me that believes I would have been successful in my rebound without you, your daily motivation and your professional advice. Who knows what might have happened if I had actually purchased some of your resources.
