Was hoping to be able to write up a good review for this company (thetreecenter.com). I believe they try to be a good source for plants but fall short on some issues. So far I have ordered 8 plants. First order... two one gallon cherry laurels, 1 pkg. Root stimulant, 1 pkg. All-Organic Complete Fertilizer. Received the cherry laurel in good shape although one has died since (thetreecenter.com refused to honor the warranty that I purchased), received the root stimulant pkg., never received the Fertilizer (was credited). Second order, one #3 container Dogwood, one #5 container Red Bud, and four #2 container Cherry Laurel. Order was placed 08MAR2021 for delivery on 31MAR2021. Received the Red Bud in good shape (which is doing well), received the Dogwood broken (container strap broke in shipping), never received the four Otto Luyken Cherry Laurel. Contacted customer service, opened a ticket, sent picture of broken Dogwood and received new Dogwood next day (which is doing well). Inquired about the missing Cherry Laurel's and was told they were "out of stock" which is surprising as I ordered mine on 08MAR2021. I was then told that I would definitely receive them in the next week or two. The week or two passed and still no Cherry Laurel. Called customer service again and was told I would receive them in the next week or two again. Never received the Cherry Laurel's but did receive a partial refund. They are a bit hit or miss with apparently a mix of competent and incompetent staff. Great on some things, not so good on others. I will NEVER purchase from them again.
