Care.com's business model is basically to trap you into a non-refundable year long subscription. My experience is they did not vet care givers well and consequently it attracts scammers. I was stood up twice by a nanny that had great reviews. They seem to push the good reviews and hid the bad reviews and most care givers have zero experience so you are opening yourself up to anyone. Care does not offer care givers training or standardization in the people that are allowed to offer "care". They charge a hefty monthly fee and make it difficult to cancel siting errors in your request hoping you forget then they keep charging you monthly and will not give you your money back. Terrible business model.
Tip for consumers:
Better to ask people you know and trust for recommendation. Care.com attracts questionable caregivers so please be careful!

You will lose time and money on this site. The matches are terrible and you they trick you into auto enrolling and will not give you your money back even though you do not use there service and have deactivated and closed your account. Stay away from this terrible site!
