Stores like this shouldn't complain about losing business to places like Amazon because they deserve to. Why do I even bother anymore. Order never received after 2 weeks, but tracking showed that it was out for delivery for several days, stuck in a loop. Called customer service, and they said they'd try to locate the item and I'd get a refund whenever they located the lost item and it was returned to them by the truck. This could take a month. So, I have to wait a month to get refunded while they try and find an item that is obviously lost. The two weeks before that I was actually waiting for the item puts me at over a month that Lego will be holding my money hostage. Lego's aren't cheap. Ordered same exact things from Amazon, at slightly cheaper prices, and they arrived in 2 days. Still waiting on my refund from Lego. Didn't need it for Xmas- needed it before Xmas, and ordered in plenty of time for it to arrive, according to the website. Things happen, shipments get lost, but why punish the customer for it, by making them wait a month for a refund, when they now have to find someplace else to purchase the item.

If you are in a crisis, please call the actual Suicide Hotline and speak to a real person. Or go to the ER. This crisis text line is bogus. It will make things worse for you. I have used them twice, thinking I'll try again after the first horrible experience. Nope, both of them made me want to hurt myself even more. The first time, I was "on hold" for over 45 minutes while they "found someone for me". They kept telling me they were busy, but to keep waiting. I didn't keep waiting. I ended the text. The next time, I did get someone. Despite me sharing in detail what I was going through, all I got back were some generic words and a list of distractions I could do, like drink some water, and a list of (not free) apps I could download on my phone. I shared both of these experiences with a therapist, and they were concerned about this text line and they thought they were bots on the other end. Pretty unethical to play around with someone's safety, by assigning bots that advertise to help you in a crisis. Maybe it depends on your geographical location, what kind of responses you might get from this.

I've been doing this since February, and I've made a little over $1000 now. Yes, it's low paying and not a quick get-rich type of thing at all. But it pays for my food, gas, and pocket money every week, letting me save more money from my regular full time job. Mind you, I'm the type of person who gets excited to find pennies, dimes, and nickels on the sidewalks, so this works for me. I don't put a lot of effort into it, since it's only pocket change for me. I do it while I'm at work, and sometimes at night. Some people get real crazy, setting alarms to snatch up good-paying HITs in the middle of the night from international requestors, working on them for 8 hours a day, etc. I do it mostly as a hobby, and don't get too crazy. If I'm working on a HIT and I don't feel it's worth it, I just return it and do another one. You will start to know which ones are worth your time, and which ones you enjoy doing the best. I did try and do this for 5+ hours a day once, and it drove me crazy. I could never do this as a full time job, because I wouldn't have what it takes. You have to really pay attention to everything you do, read every single word, and submit everything in the correct way, or you might not be paid. The highest paid HIT I've done was $6 for about 40 minutes. There are some fun HITs on here every now and then, too. Even the smaller $. 05 or $. 10 cent HITs sometimes are a gem, because they include bigger bonuses in them. I choose to have the money direct deposited into my bank, and it takes less than 24 hours to hit my bank account. You are a contractor for them, so yes, you will have to pay taxes on your income when the time comes. Keep that in mind.
