I was in the middle of trying to purchase some shoes putting in my credit information. I accidentally placed the wrong zip code and the order didn't go through as it should, but my card was still charged the amount immediately.
What kind of site takes your money with a failed transaction? This site feels extremely sketchy and don't want my account information associated with it now.
YRU shoes is a site no one should use.
I have waited 2 weeks and I haven't received any contact from their customer service about the issue. My bank immediately refunded my account when speaking with them. While YRU has done nothing.
Hello!
Thank you for your feedback! We're sorry to hear about the unsatisfactory experience you had. We'd like to report that this is not a website issue. It's actually a processing issue (related to banking), which was caused by inputting your incorrect details as you noted.
Due to your error while attempting to make a purchase, a temporary hold was placed on the purchase amount. We, the merchant, do not take money from your account nor can we process the order that is in error. The monies that are placed on hold are always released by your bank in a timely manner. We're glad they released those monies back to your account! That's great news.
We do not automatically e-mail errored transactions. We encourage you to contact customer service team members at help@yru.zendesk.com with any concerns. Our team will respond to you in 24-48 hours as is our policy (posted at yrushoes.com) save for weekends and Holiday(s). In most cases, you'll receive a response in approximately 2-3 hours!
Thank you for your time. =)
