I was shopping for home decor items for about a month, no problems. I purchased 3 sets of outdoor lights, each from a different vendor or supplier from China. I received notification that my orders had gone through and were due to be shipped. That was a weekend. I loaded my debit card on file with the company to pay bills due that following week. On Tuesday, my husband called and told me his phone payment failed, and then found out that so had his vehicle payment. This is a common problem, notably with China vendors, on this site. Vendors have access to our financial information. Home/Wish does not have any payment protection or security in place. Vendors can take your financial information AND GO SHOPPING! Happened to me. Yesterday and I've contacted the companies to seek help to no avail. I've gotten a complete runaround! I spent a lot of money to decorate a home we just bought in April. Once the last of my purchases arrive, I'm OUT $160 and my payroll debit card from my workplace IS NO LONGER SECURE! I have to change it due to this company's TOTAL LACK of financial protection for their customers! I mean, whoever it was took my debit info and shopped a website in JAPAN selling sneakers & made purchases from a competing home decor site to sell online, to further their business. And the runaround I got makes the idea of such a vast array of low-priced items NOT ONE BIT WORTH THE HASSLE that comes with it.
