This is a review of the Apple Developer Program, a nightmare if there ever was one. I have tried to enroll in this program and have jumped thru many hoops but no success - either due to their dynosaurian software run by a useless AI or their deficient staff.

(1) You can not register on Apple Dev Program if your ID and your region doesn't match. So, if you are an American in Sri Lanka and want to register, you are out of luck.

(2) Even if you user VPN and say that you are in USA, the grand AI system will detect it and give you an error called the "Great Unknown" - even their Helpdesk staff can't tell you what the error was.

(3) I finally managed to get thru the door and paid for the program using two phones (one in US, one in Sri Lanka) and then, the Helpdesk struck. They canceled and refunded my Dev Program membership. The reason: I had the wrong region ID. To summarize:

(A) Correct region ID of USA in Sri Lanka = "Great Unknown" error
(B) Incorrect Region ID of Sri Lanka = "Helpdesk Strike"

Either way, you waste tons of time dealing with these nincompoops. How did this company become so successful?

Recently I filed a complaint against Cheapoair.com with NYC BBB. After the company responded and I refused, and the company responded again and I refused again, BBB closed the complaint with the following observation:
"The business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer either (a) did not accept the response, OR (b) did not notify BBB as to their satisfaction."

So, the BBB acted as judge, jury, and executioner to decide that (A) the company had responded to my issues, and (B) the consumer was at fault for not accepting the company response.

If they wanted to be fair, unbiased, and neutral, this is what they should have said:
"The consumer and business exchanged their positions and issues but couldn't reach an agreement. The consumer is dissatisfied with the business response".

A completely useless and biased organization that is a protector of companies, not of consumers.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use this company. Go directly to small claims court.

I asked to cancel a booking and refund me in full over 9 months ago. The flight was canceled by the airline and the airports are closed in both Sri Lanka and India so I want a cash refund. The first five months, no one at CheapoAir replied. This third-class operator CheapoAir is denying all requests and is acting in a high-handed way. It's not utilizing the stimulus money it got to compensate its passengers. I have sent numerous emails (over 50) and every time I send an email, it gets lost in call-backs. In every call-back, all CheapoAir wants to do, true to its name, is act cheaply and convince me to part with my money for good. I am overseas in Sri Lanka and they call me up at any time of the day and night and disturb my sleep and life, even though I have placed myself on a DO NOT CALL registry between 8 PM and 8 AM Sri Lanka time. They always try to call me on my US number while I have told them numerous times that that number is not working in Sri Lanka and have given them a Sri Lanka number. They call a non-working number to say that they tried to call and resolve the matter but alas, the consumer wasn't available. They wouldn't even officially issue an email stating that "booking #******* is non-refundable and future credit only"! Such is the level of their fraud. The simple facts are these: (1) Airline canceled the flight. (2) Airports in Sri Lanka and India are still closed, over 8 months later, and are not likely to open anytime soon. (3) The credit CheapoAir wants me to take will expire on Dec 31,2020 - less than 2 months away. No flights will go during that time and credit will expire. (4) I am a US citizen. CheapoAir operates in the US. Therefore, this contract is subject to the US and US-DoT jurisdiction. I ask that this travel agency be investigated for (a) fraud, (b) misusing and misappropriating the stimulus money, (c) acting unethically, (d) harming end-consumer interests, and (e) bringing disrepute to the airline and travel industry. I have filed a complaint with US DoT and asked that its license should be suspended pending an investigation. I have filed a complaint with BBB and asked them to delist this company and run it out of business.

The airline that customer purchased with is not providing refunds only future credit. Those are airline policies in which we have to abide by.
