Recently, my Husband and I placed an order for a soft touch ultra fleece sheet set. When we originally placed this order, the item was backordered. We were surprised to receive it 4 - 6 weeks earlier than we expected. But, what was really surprising was when we went to take the sheet set and put it on our bed, the sheets had holes and white circle stickers near the holes. I phoned immediately and requested this item be picked up and told the Supervisor that I expected something to be done, as I didn't expect to receive used and defective merchandise from a resource such as The Company Store. So, the item was picked up, however we are still awaiting the credit on our credit card. Today, a 20% family and friend discount was mailed to us for Friends and Family and that reminded me that we still hadn't received our refund for defective merchandise as well as nothing was done to satisfy my husband or I. So, I phoned again and requested a Manager - Patricia, Customer Service Manager was extremely impolite and my Husband came into the room to say "Bye" to me as he was heading out and she rudely stated I'm interrupting her as she is talking to me - I told her I was just answering my Husband and decided it wasn't even worth talking to this individual. She sounded in a bad mood from the minute I was connected to her and I questioned this immediately. Poor customer service, poor communication, bad attitude and they don't have any clue on how to treat customers. Customer retention is huge and The Company Store needs to learn how to treat customers better. I have asked them to remove my and my husband's name and address from any future promotions, catalogues and mailings.
