Absolutely at the end of my tether with this company! Absolute joke!

So I opened up an Uber account years ago and the added a picture along the way I must of accidentally opened up a driver account (I don't drive) so after paying quite happily via PayPal or a debit card over many years with no major issues, I wanted to change my profile pic ( you know a nice SIMPLE JOB) oh nooo because I'd opened a driver account meant I couldn't change my profile pic … so simple solution one would have thought. Get in contact with u we explain and delete the UNUSED DRIVER account …. If only things were that simple … and common sense was all the rage! Nope I was told that won't work and to change my profile pic I'd need to delete my account! Fine ok if that's the easiest option all for the sake of a profile pic fine do that! Ok old account deleted. I then re opened an Uber account all shiny and new and I could change the pic perfect … then I came to book a ride all the SAME PAYMENT METHODS … so I press to book all looking good … the. HOLD WAIT A MINUTE! Payment declined, can't used the payment methods… ‍‍ … goes to check PayPal working fine and bank card working fine … ok so try again still not working … so get in contact with Uber to explain … a whole heap of pointless generic message being sent to me I g me they were looking into it, can you send a screen shot of what was coming up etc I complied and sent the info. So I then receive a message (where apparently & I quote from Uber's generic pointless comment back…. ‘NO RESPONSE NEEDED

Right ok so there's an issue, then surely common sense would dictate TELL THE ACCOUNT HOMDEF WHAT THE ISSUE IS SO WE CAN COME TO A SOLUTION AND FIX THE PROBLEM!'

So I've rung the only customer service number there is only 1 & having to repeat the situation about 4 times! So far and being told the same BS stuff! With no resolve!

I don't understand why there's some secretive ‘problem' with my account I've explained countless times and yet all I keep getting is generic messages that offer zero help or a solution then being told its with the elusive ‘escalation team which no one can speak too!

What kind of service is this?! I'm the account holder and I've been using the same PayPal and cards as my old account and yet your feeding me utter rubbish and sending me generic pointless messages that doesn't explain or help the fact I can't use my Uber account! The amount of time wasted and frustration is a joke! Fuming is an understatement!

Absolutely disgusted by rudeness of one of
The supposed customer services care assistant GABRIELLE who needs to be retrained in customer etiquette! She has the audacity to call me liar about missing items from my order and this being me second order in 2 years!

I have to say I'm absolutely disgusted in the email and response! I placed one order last year with you and then this one and your calling me a liar! Saying that I've kept goods when I've tried to deal with this quickly and provided evidence to show you that items were missing from my order due to the packaging being wide open! I took photos and got in contact with you straight away! And now your telling me that your not going to be having any further contact with me! Well the items I received are unsuitable and I am entitled to a refund as per statuary customer rights! I wanted these items for my holiday hence why I've been in contact straight away and you are calling me a liar! I think it's rude and extremely poor customer service the snotty email that's been sent to me!

If I had been placing lots of orders and claim items were missing' I could possibly understand why you may have sent the email but this is my 2ND ORDER IN 2 FRIGGING YEARS

ME AND WHAT ITEMS WERE INSIDE!

Further more I've since refunded the 5 items took pictures of what I was returning and a picture of the proof of postage and yet I've still only been refunded for 3 pairs of shoes! What the actually FRIGG! The. Complete incompetence of this company is shocking!

They will shut down your account without a valid reason or proof. Accounts get hacked constantly....
