Hasslefree miniatures is a joke.
First of all, they force you to choose the most expensive shipping fare if you live in Italy, Spain, Greece and Mexico because according to them those Countries are the most prone to loose shippings. OK, there are dishonest people out there who take advantage of untracked mail, but assuming that everybody is the same in those four Countries is racist at best.
Then, they never answer to your queries through the website. They ask you to insist because 'sometimes' messages don't get through. Yeah, right. How many times do I have to try? I sent two messages and never got an answer.
They don't provide any information about the shipment that isn't automatically generated. So you get the confirmation of your order, but you don't know if the order has been despatched, you don't know the tracking code. Nothing.
I tried to contact them through Facebook after a week, and politely asked news about my order. Luckily they answered this time, but an unnamed representative told me that LIKELY the order was already in a mail bag, that THEY WERE A BIT BUSY and that PROBABLY I'd receive confirmation in the next 24 hours.
24 hours passed and I didn't get any confirmation or any other kind of info. Furthermore, LIKELY, BUSY and PROBABLY? Really? What kind of customer service use these words? I asked again for news and this time they read the message (FB doesen't lie) but didn't bother to reply.
I'm extremely annoyed with the way these people make business and this way they did lose not one, but two customers since the order I made was also half on behalf of a friend of mine.
Lastly, their online catalogue is managed as poorly as their customers relationship. Miniatures keep getting out of stock and back in stock in a few hours, making impossible to get everything you need in one go.
Stay away from those poeple, really.
Update: after having a not so pleasant discussion with the same unnamed rep, I discovered that their e-mail contacts don't work and they DIDN'T HAVE TIME to fix them. They put a news item about this problem, but you have to look for it in order to read it, so a big no-no.
Also, after 12 freaking days they haven't dispatched the order yet. Never saw a service worst than this one and they ask for a hefty price for shipping to my Country.
Again, stay away.
