Years ago before DVD's I received an advertisement through the mail from Columbia House. The ad said to pick 12 movies for $1.00 each. I thought this was a place to maybe get movies at a discount price. WOW what I did not realize is after they ship the movies that they bind you to a one year contract. Then you have only 12 months to buy 12 more movies at there club prices. The catch is that the club prices for any movie they have is $39.99 an up for each movie you have to buy. Before it was all over I spent $400.00 plus the $12.00 for the first 12 movies totaling $412.00 for 20 vhs tapes. Divided by 20 = $20.60 per movie. What a deal? I love the fact that they don't tell you any of this before signing up with them. Scam, scam, scam. Movie lovers BEWARE. Stay away from them. Go shopping for movies at Ebay or Amazon its safer and certainly cheaper. When I tried to call them to see if I could return the first 12 movies because I did not know that I would be obligated to buy movies at such a high cost to fill the contract. They told me that there was nothing they could do. Also that I only had the 12 months to keep from breaking the contract with them before legal action could be taken by Columbia House to recover they money I owed them. I paid they money but told everyone about there movie scam. Beware of Columbia money making house.

I visited this site just a few months back. Last Christmas I received a catalog in the mail from Swiss Colony. They had such a nice collection of yummy treats. I placed an order with them an the items where shipped promptly. There petite fours where were so delicious that I ordered some for myself. They had another item that my friend loved. It was little loaves of different types of breads with delicious spreads to go on top. They had a cake that was a Double chocolate raspberry cream filled torte that was to die for. I was so happy to have such nice things to give as gifts. I really could not afford to buy them out right but they have payment plans you can pay for up to a year. Most of the items have to stay cold because they are made from dairy items. When I received my order I Placed them in the fridge and delivered them on Christmas eve for all my family and friend to enjoy on Christmas morning. The items held up very well. Although they are a little pricey. They were delicious. Just looking at them made my mouth water. At Christmas they run specials like if you buy several items and the price for all is lowered. They even sent me a free gift. They allowed me to choose from a beautiful metal tin of select Christmas cookies, or a box of 24 delicious petite fours to keep for myself. I chose the cookies. Next year I hope to try some of the other items they have. The selection of different towers filled with goodies made it hard for me to decide what to order. They had these homemade bread crisps with different types of cheeses to choose from. You could mix and match them. My friend told me they were delicious. I don't think I will ever be able to try everything I liked, but I am well on my way to enjoying the Swiss Colony collection. So if you are as busy as I am over the holiday season. I visit this site quite often, because I am always on the prowl for cake decorating ideas. I have been making cakes for many years. I have been to several decorating stores through the years and there are very few left. This store is really nice because they carry a huge variety of supplies. Just about almost anything a person would need to decorate a cake. Since I started as an amateur decorating cakes. I learned a lot just shopping for things to decorate with. This store has so many decorations to top cakes with. Since I have a great imagination and a gift for thing up something in a poem type style. Then applying it to the persons personality. Or just to something they like. I will come up with an idea and then look for things to exhibit the idea. I have had a lot of fun making my own cakes. They always taste better that when a bakery makes them. They also means so much more to the people you are making them for. Even though they don't always turn out as beautiful as a bakery could make them. They always turn out good. After years of doing it, you learn little tricks that make it easier each time. This cake store supplies things that make it simple. The cookie cutters are also really nice, high quality items. The edible images are cool to. You can send them a picture of anything you want, and they will send it back to you to put on the top of a cake. Since there is store near me I have the convenience of going there. I want to share this with everyone because they can order a catalog to see what is available. I visited this site today and found it to be very enlightening. I was really interested in the 149 scam sites they reviewed. The one about the feed the children had a you tube video on it, but for whatever reason the user removed it. All though there are some pretty good scam alerts that make you wonder. I like this site they seem to be pretty correct in what they are saying. After reviewing a few other scam sites they provided I think I will check them out on a daily basis. Any updated on scams no matter how small can be a a useful tool to keep us all safer. Up until now I have no reason to doubt that listings of scams posted here. I bought a beautiful bomber jacket last winter from Burlington. I was originally priced at $150.00. I only paid $ 59.99 for a jacket that was made of real fur. Because I love animals I would not have bought this jacket if I realized that the inside and pockets were made of beaver fur. The hood also had red fox fur surrounding the top. This jacket was black and also had a little gemstone on the zipper piece. I felt bad when I received the jacket because of the real fur, but when I put it on I fell in love with it. I keep this jacket just for dress. It would seem a shame to wear it for everyday use. This was not the first time I bought a coat from Burlington. I have been buying coats from this store for about 7 years now. I have also purchased clothes, bed and bathroom items and really nice shoes. In today's economy this store makes your dollar go along way. Because they are a warehouse they get things in bulk. I have even found Victoria Secret sweatshirts. They have saved me hundreds of dollars for a coats that would cost so much more for the same thing in another store. I visited this site today because I love this store. A few years back my best friend gave me a bracelet that was very unique. It was sterling silver with a very different figure 8 type clasp. My girlfriend had 2 exactly the same and decided to let me have one. About 1 year later, I was at another friends house and somehow I lost the bracelet. Because my girlfriend had a bigger wrist than I, the bracelet was a little big for me. She wares a size 8 and my wrist is a size 7. I called her up crying and very upset that I had lost the bracelet because it had a great deal of sentimental background. She told me not to worry that she would see if she could get another one. I told her that I did not want a new one because I loved the one she gave me so much. After I went back and looked all over for the bracelet and never found it I began to reconsider getting another one. I called my girlfriend and told her that when I cam down to Virginia to spend time with her during the summer that I wanted to try and get another bracelet. She said why don't you save your money and get one around Christmas time. I told her that I really missed the bracelet and did not want to wait so long. Little did I know what was going on. That summer I went to visit her for a week. The first day I got there we went window shopping. I told her that I wanted to try and see if I could get another bracelet. My girlfriend kept trying to keep me from going to Micheal's. I started to think that she was angry with me for losing the bracelet that she gave me. When I pulled into there parking lot she got out and started across the street to another store, trying to get me to follow her. I told her you go ahead I want to go in Micheal's. I walked in the store and the shop owner said how can I help you. I said well you remember me and my friend had the same bracelets. Then to my surprise she said wait here its ready. I looked at her as my friend was coming in the store shaking her hands behind my back as if to say no no no. I asked the lady what do you mean the bracelets read? Then my girlfriend said well I hope your happy, you just spoiled my Christmas present. I started to cry saying are you kidding. She said no I am not. I hugged her and said to my best friend you just gave me my Christmas present. I told her that the bracelet meant nothing to me, just the thought that she loved me enough to get the bracelet without me knowing, was gift enough. I told her I would pay for the bracelet and that this bracelet had even more sentimental value to me than the last one did. She told me that she had them make this one in a size 7 so it could not roll off of my wrist. Because this bracelet was a custom design that she had them make there where only 2 of them and the one I lost. So if you want and item as unique as a best friend try them out. I have visited this site today to try and see if I could find a particular screensaver that I loved from years ago. It is called bad dog from a software I had years ago. The maker of this software is after dark. This screensaver is a little white dog with a black ring around his eye. He is really cool. He is on your desktop going all over digging holes in your screen and jumping in and out. After he rips up your screen enough you see him inside your computer chewing on the inside until he electrocutes himself. He keeps doing this until your entire screen is gone. Then he starts all over again. While he is reeking havoc on your screen he stops to scratch his fleas and you hear his owner yell BAD DOG. When he yells at him the dog puts his tail between his legs and creeps away in a frightened mood. After a few seconds he starts being bad dog again. He pushes out a trash can and knocks it over too. I am trying to find a download for bad dog. I think I may still have the disc from years ago. I think that I need a newer version that is compatible with the Windows I have now. This site claims to have bad dog, I reviewed the entire 10 pages of downloads they have and bad dog is not there. I don't know why they say they have bad dog. I would not recommend a site that says they have something they don't. I hope everyone checks him out on youtube he is cool cool cool. I have been buying from this store for about 4 years now. I have ordered things from them online in the past. I like the selection of auto parts and equipment they have. I have gone into the store and bought rain gutters for my truck and a bug guard that was great. It stops all those nasty insects from flying into my windshield. It was no fun cleaning the flying creatures off of my truck. As a matter of fact it made me sick. I also just purchased new front and back brakes from them. I called several different places to price check before making a decision on who I was going to buy from. Advanced beat several other dealers in price. I have priced the oil here but Walmart beat there oil prices. I have also bought wiper blades, air fresheners and car waxes that were nice. Advanced auto has a large section of accessories for just about anything you need for repair and replacement parts. When I went to the store the employee's where knowledgeable and helpful. If they did not have the part in the store they ordered very quickly and then called me as soon as it was available for pick up. They even offered to send it to my house. I hope this site helps people who are trying to save on auto parts, they can be very expensive in some other stores. You may not be able to get everything here, but they have a lot of stock. I love Partycity so much. I have been shopping at this store for years. The site is really cool. They have almost everything that someone could possibly want to throw a party. I purchased 2 pairs of Sonoma sandals from Kohls, I love them They where originally $20.00 marked down to $14.00. The 2 I bought are cutout medallion flip flops & the braided flip flops. Every year I buy this brand name because they are so comfortable. This year I bought the braided style in a light colored tan & the medallion flip flop in black. I have had many types of sandals but I like Sonoma's the best. They feel broke in from the get go. I can only find them at Khols. This store has really great priced items. In todays economy you have to be a thrifty shopper. They sent the sandals right away hassle free. They also have a nice collection of Rosetti handbags. Rosetti handbags are organizer bags. I love this site more than you can imagine. Every year I go to stay with my best frien in Parksley VA. Chincoteague island is about 20 minutes from her house. The island is a beautiful place to vacation. Unlike Ocean City MD. Chincoteague has no board walk. But has a small area up to the beach with many really cool beach stores. One of my favorite stores is Ponytails. They have the most delicious saltwater taffy I have ever tasted. The peanut butter filled taffy, and the licorice taffy are 2 of my favorite ones. The have all different flavors to choose from. They have great fudge to. The orange creamsicle and chocolate marshmallow fudge are unbelievable, they melt in your mouth. They have a really nice selection of homemade candy as well. I was unable to view the candies online maybe because they have not yet updated the site for the new season. I called them today they advised me that they are adding more items everyday. Also that they have 2 new flavors of fudge root beer & water melon. I have never tried these flavors yet but I can't wait to. I love the many blown glass gifts they have. I saw a beautiful two toned glass stingray that was about 1 foot across. He was something I wish I had the money to buy. The glass crabs and seahorses where cool to. They have really neat little seashell turtles that have wire glasses on & and a little clam that stands upright with little eyes and feet. When I bought mine I paid $1.00 each. Every tear I buy another turtle to add to my collection. Even though they are made the same, they have different sizes to them and different seashells that make the little turtle shells. Everyone is a little different than the other. I really don't think there are 2 exactly alike. They have a contact number to call and find out what is in stock. They also have great gifts. For many years I have purchased Springbok puzzles. I found a lot of them at thrift stores. My very first Springbok puzzle was thousands of bottle caps. It was very hard because all the caps where the same. It took me about three months to put it together. After I finished the puzzle I liked it so much I wanted to hang it on the wall. I bought puzzle glue and a piece of poster board and glued it together. Then I found one that I adored it was three country bears in pastel colors. I did the same with this one and put it in my kitchen. These puzzles are very nice because the pieces are cut out perfect and stay together very well. They are also thicker than most other puzzles. They can also be purchased at Hallmark stores. I love this site. I am going to buy one the new bird puzzle they have, it is beautiful. The colors in these particular puzzles are very vibrant and would look great on any wall. I like the Christmas puzzles to. The crowned cranes are cool, they have been marked down from $12.05 to $10.95. This is a good price for a Springbok they usually run about $15.00 in stores. I also like the 2000 piece puzzle called color of money. I love the coral carnival puzzle also it is in the wildlife section where the cranes and other beautiful bird puzzles are. I have had a lot of fun for years putting puzzles together. The harder the puzzle the more fun. They have puzzles that are on different difficulty levels. Form beginner to advanced. I love this site, they have the nicest gift baskets and towers. At Christmas I go to the store and purchase all kinds of gifts. Last year I bought a bag of delicious coffee. It was Mocha peppermint stick. They have so many other flavors of coffee that are so good. I love the towers, they have moose munch crunch that is delicious. I also love the towers that have the chocolate covered fruits, Like chocolate covered cherries and blueberries. They also have great malted milk balls in all kinds of flavors, chocolate, vanilla & strawberry. There cookies are fantastic. They have filled cookies that are made of delicious shortbread filled with jams. The cookies and breads are great. They have towers that include great fresh pears. Every year I send these to people that mean a lot to me. These gifts are a little pricey but worth every cent. They are so fresh and made of the finest quality fruits. They seem so homemade. The towers are very decorative, they have snowman and Christmas trees. I really love the different selection of nuts that come in the boxes. They also have the meat and cheese spreads that are great. I purchased a box of 4 delicious bread and spreads that I was going to give as a gift. But sorry to say they never made it to the post office. They looked so good I decided to keep them for my family. They had hazel nut, butter cream, honey maple and raisin & nut spreads. They where so good I was wishing I had ordered more than just one set. If you have someone that you want to surprise with the finer things in life. I visited this site tonight because I am searching for a special frame for a picture I recently got. Years ago I went to Pier 1 and purchased candles. There candles smelled so great. I love this store because they have so many really neat things. While I was in the store I thought that they were a little bit expensive. After I bought a few things from them I kept going back over and over for years. I bought rugs, wall accents and an adorable figurine that I still have to this day. She was a little indian girl. This store has great quality items. There merchandise is good quality. I love just going in the store because they have such a wide variety of different things. Things that other store don't have. I watch American Idol every week. This season has been great. They are down to the last three contestants tonight. This site is really cool. You can see the past performers. What I really liked about the site is the live slide shows. Also the judges, Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson & Steven Tyler. I visited this site a while back at my work. Because student loans can be a real pain to pay back. Some students fall into default for many reasons. The student may have become ill or hurt there self. Or maybe just lost there job. Most student work part time while attending college. Because the lenders promise ease at paying back the loans, the student may fall into a trap of impossible re-payment on there loans. When a loan falls into the default stage it can accrue interest on a daily basis. The lender does not explain up front about the charges that can be applied if the loan defaults. Usually the promissory note explains this in small print on the back of the note the student sometimes does not see this until it is to late. Once the loan defaults and payments are so far behind, the client then has the right to report this to the student credit report. Then they will usually send it to collection agency for collections. Once the reaches the agency the collector can really damage the students credit report. When pulling the students credit report from Trans Union, Eqifax & Experian This show as an inquiry. These inquires into the students report are viewed for possible resources that the borrower may have to re-pay the loan. Such as credit cards. Because loans are very much like a credit card debt with interest that can continue to accrue until the loan is paid in full. Not to mention the collection fee's that will be added by the collection agency. The collection agency can also take legal action if necessary in some instance. Such as wage garnishment or by suing for a judgement against the student. Once the loan gets to this point the student cannot make payment arrangements with the creditor or collector. The chances of ever paying back a loan up in the thousands is next to impossible. I hope this site may help someone suffering from an over whelming student loan balance. So what do you have to lose except stress on how to make your next loan payment. I visited this site today to bring back memories of the trip I won back in 2005 from where I worked. My boss had a contest to win a trip to Disney world. Since I have always wanted to go there as a child. My mother raised my brother and I, so we where kind of poor. She was never able to take us there herself. When I won this trip I was jumping up and down all through our office. It was like a dream come true. With the kind of luck I have I never win anything. So I am sure you all can imagine how excited I was when I won a 5 day, 6 night all expense paid trip to Disney world grand resorts. My hotel was right inside Disney world. I Stayed on the top level of the Grand Floridain Hotel. It was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in my entire life. You could see Magic Kingdom right out my suites window. It had bed the size of two King size beds. It had a safe, a living room, computer, sunlamp and a jacuzzi bathtub. It was like being in heaven. There was a lagoon and 2 olympic size swimming pools. It also had a grand piano on the lower floor and another piano on the second floor. Every night they would have someone plying classic music on the piano to relax the quests. They had everything you could imagine to eat or drink including an open bar right outside my suite door. But the neatest thing was that you didn't even have to leave the hotel to get to the theme parks. All you had to do was walk about 15 feet out onto a bay and catch a monorail that took you anywhere inside Disney world. I know this is a very expensive place to stay but it is a once in a lifetime chance to be so spoiled. So if you ever plan to visit Disney world save your money so you can experience the luxury of the Grand Floridain Hotel. I love this site they have such great clothes. Years ago I found this site and I also visited there store in White Marsh Mall. Victoria's Secret Is a little pricey but they are worth it. I have bought clothes from them over 15 years ago. Pajamas, leggings, sweatshirts, tunics, bra's, fragrances, shimmering body powders and more. I love there items. There are made so wonderful from quality materials, they are put together so finely and never fall apart. I have clothes from them I bough over 15 years ago, that still look brand new. I love there sweatshirts, they fade so neat they get this kind of really neat used look that comments the wearing. They look better as you wash them. I used to love there Country collection catalog. But they discontinued it. I wish more people would request they bring it back. I found this company off of television. I ordered 2 bottles of this product called Lipozene. They promise that you will lose pounds of pure body fat immediately after you begin to take the pills. They also say that you don't have to change your diet at all. They also say that this medicine is for people who are serious about wanting to lose pounds of body fat. They advise that body fat builds over the muscle and around the waist. They also say that the drug is clinically proven to work or they will refund your full purchase price. They offer you a 30 day free trial. They send you a free bottle also just for trying the product, along with another free gift called metabo up. Well let me tell you what happened after I ordered this for my cousin. He is a diabetic who is very over weight. They sent the product after about 10 days. So there goes 10 days already of your 30 day free trial offer to refund it, if you don't like it. Well how can you tell after just 20 days if it works or not? Second its a big joke. MY cousin took a 60 day supply, plus used the free metabo up pills also and said he did not feel anything from them. The real clincher is this. The Lipozene does not work at all. My cousin never lost a single pound in 60 days. I think he even gained a little weight. So BEWARE of site. There are just in it for the money. You will be better off buying a grapefruit and eating soft boiled eggs for breakfast, then a salad with tuna straight out of the can for lunch. Then have a bowl of Special K cereal for dinner followed by a brisk walk. You will also feel better to. If you know someone in need of weight loss tell them not to bother with this junk.
