I have had Straight Talk for probably over a year now. I will agree that customer service can be a pain, but I have always had good coverage for a very low cost. I have never had any problems not getting my time. I have mostly had aggravation when upgrading to a different phone. Porting the number takes longer sometimes than is convenient.
I recently used their "Bring Your Own Phone" sim card program to use an ATT iPhone 3g. The sim card worked, but I did have problems resetting the APN settings. They were useless, but then, so was the place I bought the phone. I googled a bit and found an app that fixed it in no time. So far, service has been very good. When I factor how much I save and compare it to the occasional aggravation, it is definitely the best deal I have found out there. Just don't expect $150/ mo. Customer service for $45/mo...

I have read a lot of interesting and helpful stuff here. Some of the cheat sheets are useful, and they had a list of top iPhone apps that saved me some money because there were a lot that were free and better than some paid apps.
I don't know about viruses and spyware. I have an iMac because I am online mostly and didn't want the aggravation of always having to worry about what site I went to. I never had any problems, but then, I wouldn't because of my OS. If you are downloading anything, it is probably a good idea to have your anti-virus up to date no matter where you are.

You will spend 10 minutes answering what would be considered an entire survey somewhere else and then be told that you did not qualify!
If you ever reach a payout level, I have no idea if you would ever get anything, but it is highly unlikely to even get there, as you never "qualify" on surveys.
I have another survey site, Toluna, and I have gotten at least $60 last year, so I know I can qualify. I also know that if you don't qualify with a legitimate site, you screen out fairly quickly. With Surveyhead, you do answer the full survey, you are just told you didn't. Definitely a ripoff.

I have always gotten good value for what I have paid. I read product reviews, and that helps. I think if you skip them, you can order something that isn't up to the quality you want. It's really a case of using common sense. If you are paying less than $1 shipped for something others charge $10 or more +shipping there will likely be a difference in quality. Sometimes it matters, sometimes it doesn't. You have to make the determination about how much quality you need on your own. (That can be difficult for some, so be realistic about it.)
I have ordered many, many times. I have always gotten not just an order confirmation but also an email when the item shipped, where it shipped from and approximately how long it could take. As much of it is from the East, two weeks is not unusual.
I have never ordered their wedding gowns, stuffed animals or other incongruous items... How did they get that combination, anyway? But I have had luck with everything else. Just read thoroughly and don't expect diamonds for CZ prices. For me, CZ will do most of the time, so I save a lot of money.

Since finding this site over a year ago, it has revolutionized my shopping habits. I live on a fixed income, so every penny counts. Not only do I find great savings, I have also gotten a considerable amount of free items, too. Nothing huge, but more than I could have found at any other sites.
I have noticed that most other sites have a lot of scams and "participation required" offers which are a complete waste of time. Those don't stand much of a chance here, as every deal is vetted by the members and bad ones are discovered quickly and warnings posted.
I check this site several times a day. I have found several merchants through slickdeals that have fantastic prices compared to the "normal" retailers.
Some people get confused or think it's crowded, but I have never had any problems. I think that some people have an expectation of "pretty" and when they don't get it, they dismiss a site. This site is useful, and that's what I'm looking for, and that's what they deliver.
