WHAT A NIGHTMARE!
My boyfriend and I were shopping one day and we came across this ring at Daniel's which was absolutely GORGEOUS. While we were in the store the sales person Mary told us that the jewelry was buy one get one free if we wanted to purchase the ring. We did not purchase it yet but the deal would continue for a few more days. My boyfriend went in on December 1st to purchase the ring while the promotion was still active. When he got there he was told by Mary that she explained the deal wrong the first time and that the ring we were looking at was not included in that promotion unless it was bought and paid for in full (without the current sale price). He bought the ring regardless. I received the ring for Christmas and it was even prettier than I remembered. I brought it to Daniel's on December 26th to submit it for sizing. I was told it would be ready on Wednesday, January 1. I got a call on the 28th from Sharine informing me that they did not realize the ring was rose gold plated and that they didn't have the plating they needed, but the ring would be ready on Saturday January 11th instead. I was upset but fine, I could wait a week. I get a call on December 30th that I missed from Daniel's, and had a voicemail, the girl who called did NOT leave her name but called to tell me that it would be ready on Wednesday the 1st around 3 pm. On Wednesday I went to Daniel's to be told by Sharine that the ring would once more not be ready until the 11th, that they didn't realize it was plated and that while the ring was now sized it was not plated and that was the cause of delay. At this point I'm frustrated but it is what it is I will wait. I get a call yesterday January 3rd and told my ring will be ready this Saturday. Great! It's a week early! I call this afternoon January 4th at 12:56 pm and give my name again and ask what time i can pick up the ring and I'm told the ring should be in by 3 pm. I get a call back at around 1:30pm being told that I was told the ring wouldnt be in until the 11th. This is when I lost it.

I ask why it's so disorganized and when can i get my ring! From here the employees behavior is outrageous. Sharine tells me WITH attitude that she TOLD me that it would be ready on the 11th and she doesnt know who i talked to but they gave me the wrong information. I hang up and i'm seething at this point. I want recourse so I call back and ask the phone number for their General Manager. I am told that they are not allowed to give me his number. I tell them that thats B. S. they then begin obstructing my ability to not only speak to a manager (who is apparently on vacation) but to get the general managers' information as well It turns in to a shouting match. I then ask for the names of the employees there, at first they refuse to give me names I told them I can comedown in person and get the names myself and find the General Managers phone number myself. I finally get names and then I ask who sold me the ring, up until this point all they needed was my name when i called in. They then start to pretend that they don't know who i am. They ask if i purchased the ring and so i grabbed my boyfriend who was standing there and he gives them his information, they claim they dont have a record of the transaction and i need a receipt number for them to help me. I get the receipt number and they ask how it was paid for we said by credit card and they try to tell me they have no record of the purchase. I tell them I'm looking at the credit card receipt and that they DO have record. She then starts arguing with me that it was a cash transaction. After a few minutes she says "oh here it is it was marked as a cash transaction because it wasn't financed *again not my problem* I FINALLY get the names and tell them this needs to be fixed. I ask how this even happened at which point Sharine tells me that their jeweler (who is in north county) does not have the equipment to replate it and has to get the plating and thats the hold up. I asked WHY in the world they would send my ring to a Jeweler who doesn't have the tools to fix my ring! We go back and forth for a bit and finally i am given these options:
1. I have no choice but to wait until next saturday
2. They will exchange the ring for another ring which I would then have to drive to Parkway Plaza (their sister store) and give it to them myself and have them size it and get it back by Monday because their jeweler has all the tools they need.
3. they get my ring from the jeweler by wednesday and i would have to take it to another jeweler and pay for them to fix the ring (out of my own pocket)
4. I just return the ring and get a full refund.
I ask why i simply cant go and pick up my ring from the jeweler or why they cant have it brought down and handed to their other store who can fix it and they say "thats not how we do it"

Now they have my ring for ransom, i have little to no recourse and i still have to wait until next saturday because they aren't willing to fix their mistake. NO i dont want some random ring in their window or a replacement ring because its not the one I was gifted by my boyfriend.

The have obstructed me as much as possible so now I will go to every reach of the internet and their customer service to expose their HORRIFIC customer service and their total inability to do fix an issue which they themselves caused.
