I ordered seven Soul Sister bracelets about a week before Christmas from Shop LuLu. I would get shipping notifications about some of the other stuff that was also part of the order. A couple of days later I went into my e-mail which is not something I do daily. I saw an e-mail from Shop Lulu and rolling my eyes, I said to myself,'here we go, they don't have some part of the order'. I was right but was not expecting what I read when I opened the e-mail. The e-mail was from Jill - CEO - who was clearly upset because the Soul Sister bracelets didn't ship to the their offices. She went on to apologize and assured me that the bracelets would get there in time for Christmas. She also told me how the Shop LuLu employees were up in arms about my order. Who does that? Who makes the customer experience so personal? I was going on with my day and in the next borough there was a group of caring people who were singularly worried about my order. She went on to say that they checked on Amazon to see if the bracelets were available to buy there. I was so taken aback after I read this, I quickly answered that the bracelets could come in after Christmas, as they were for friends from my parish and I wouldn't see them on Christmas. Within 10 minutes Jill answered saying she was so happy I replied, as her and her staff were stressing about my order. She gave me several options, one of them, purchasing the bracelets elsewhere and they gave me the name of the other company to purchase them at. Had I needed them for Christmas I still would have stayed with Shop LuLu. They go the extra mile and the positive energy can be felt through the email from Jill. I will continue to be a customer and will continue to tell about this experience. It's not often that you get such a wonderful and refreshing customer experience. Oh btw, this company employs Young Adults with Special Needs so for me it was a spiritual connection, as well. A lot of thought went into getting this company started, and doing it with such a sense of social responsibility is nothing short of astonishing.
Thank you Jill and Shop LuLu employees for this wonderful experience. My parish friends loved the bracelets :) and so do I. Such a pleasure shopping with you.
