2. I have been reported for being a "BUSINESS" because I have MORE THAN ONE item for sell.
WHAT? I didn't know selling my personal items makes me a "business"!
3. MY ITEMS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE.
Which the judgmental "lead" person was really saying, "How can YOU be selling this?" CLEARLY insulting me by saying MY nice belongings are TOO nice for someone like me because I'm a struggling college student!
4. They told me I HAVE TO EXPLAIN WHO I AM BEFORE SELLING MY ITEMS.
WHAT? I'm a struggling college student! Basically they are asking for my name, rank, and serial number with a gun to my head with the promise of my first born child before I try and sell a sweater! Clearly these people missed the day Sesame Street explained "RIDICULOUS" to all the boys and girls!

The horrible site I've experienced is Oakridge, Garland, TX neighborhood Nextdoor.

I have several items for sale on here. I've gotten less than a handful of messages, and sold ONE item. I bought a set of pictures on here, I wasn't happy at all with the price, but it's hard to find pictures that come in sets. It was a smooth transaction overall. I sold one item and that was so annoying! She was over an hour late from the agreed meeting time! THEN immmediately the site sent a message wanting me to give her a review! Are you kidding me? I definitely wasn't in a good place to give that person a review, not then or EVER!
CONS about this site:
1. It is so hard when I can only post an ad from my Iphone. I would much rather use my laptop!
2. There's a limit of 5 pictures! That stinks!
3. You have to scroll UP for the ad information! If you don't do that, then you have NO idea what the details are about this item! Again, most people are too impatient to take the time to do that and read!
4. It cost $1.99 to bump ONE ad to the top! Hmmm... on Craigslist it's free.
5. I looked up "dress" in the search box and none of MY dresses showed up at all! My products are not visible! How am I supposed to sell anything on this website if it's not visible or easy to find? I put in MY location and still my ad hasn't shown up!
6. There are TOO many repeat items! One person makes hundreds of accounts and posts over and over and over again! So ANNOYING! OfferUp needs to control this!
7. Contact! Ok people, use common sense! This site will ALERT you when someone sends a message regarding your items. It is just plain RUDE to message someone after 10pm at night and before 9am in the morning! You could just save it to your favorites, THEN at a DECENT HOUR, contact the seller. The same goes for sellers! Don't message anyone at crazy hours and be prompt in responding!
You may say, just turn off the alerts, WHY? That's the whole reason to USE this site! To sell your items, but COMMON SENSE says, Uhhhh yeah I'm not trying to sell my item at 2:30am when you see it when you come home in the middle of the night from the bar!
8. SOLD items - CLEARLY OfferUp HAS NOT explained to ANYONE how to Archive their SOLD items! Why do you want to go on a site to buy something just to see ALL THE THINGS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN SOLD! It's RIDICULOUS! No one cares to see what you CAN'T BUY!

NEW: 8-28-17 My brother got married this July and I bought my new sister in law an authentic Coach wristlet and an authentic Coach wallet. I was very happy with the entire purchase and paying process! I also bought two inspired totes that were just awesome and beautiful!
I even made a purchase but needed to return it due to a broken zipper and I had no problems at all.
Overall, I would shop there again, BUT make sure you ask LOTS OF QUESTIONS!
From my understanding of the wording for returns, you pretty much can't get your money back. That is so stupid! Why buy something you could never return?
Questions- What is the fabric? Just because the tag says Large, is this really a large? Large like 12 or large like 14? What are the colors? Any rips, tears, stains?

I'm not sure why there are so many recent bad reviews, but I noticed NO ONE who is complaining has posted any pictures, or specific dates, specific sellers, nor specific amounts of money they've been cheated out of.
Poshmark's policy is to hold the payment and once you receive your purchase, they give you three days to accept your purchase or notify them of a problem!
Like I said, it's important to ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING! You can even ask for MORE PICTURES if you need to see something that's not pictured. If the seller gets upset or combative, then CLEARLY you DON'T want to buy from that person!
Be a smart buyer so YOU don't have any problems!
1. See when the seller joined the site
2. See how many items they have listed
3. See if they have "Love Notes" (buyers reviews of the seller and purchase)
Read them if they do!
4. Never accept when a "seller" asks to handle the purchase off Poshmark!
If they just joined within 1-3 months, have no listed items, no sold items, and ask you to call them or email them, then THEY'RE PLANNING ON SCAMMING YOU!
Poshmark isn't the only site that these losers operate!

****TO POSHMARK:
1. STOP being so greedy by taking 20% PLUS the high shipping rate! Cut out your overhead wherever possible and be fair to these sellers! Shipping shouldn't cost that much!
2. MONITOR your sellers! If someone hasn't logged on in more than two weeks, then give them like a "3 Strikes" rule. If they do this 3 times, then they shouldn't be able to sell on your site! It's NOT the BUYERS responsibility to watch for lazy sellers! Don't you know these people give your site a bad image?
2. REMOVE items that have been sold! It's fine that the sold items are in the seller's closet, BUT when your site offers "SIMILAR ITEMS" WHY would you want to display an item that has been sold? It's NOT like anyone can buy it so why offer it as a similar item? It should only be items that are FOR SALE!
3. LOVE NOTES - I get it, NO ONE wants to read ALL your rules and regulations, but I had NO idea what a "LOVE NOTE" was! When I searched/googled it, I still DIDN'T find any information on it! YOU really NEED to ADD this information when someone is completing a purchase so everyone knows what it is, how to leave a love note and the purpose for it!

PROS about this site:
1. It shows me how many people viewed my items.
2. There are not a lot of duplicate posts (you know, one seller posting HUNDREDS OF TIMES!)
3. You can get verified, but why does that matter if the site doesn't hold you accountable? PLUS, I DON'T have a Facebook account, so that doesn't help.

So overall there are more Cons than Pros. I would hope the people who run Letgo fix all these issues!

I have 44 items listed on here currently (May 2017). I'm also on other selling websites. I've sold two items on here. I know this site is still new, actually my 25 yr old daughter recently told me about it. I'd love to try the 5 Miles Wallet, but I haven't seen anyone using it on here yet. If I see someone using it, I'm going to ask lots of questions on their experience. I just don't want to give them all my credit card information without having piece of mind! That's frightening!
This site tracks how many views you get and how many offers you get daily. You also get reviewed and rated like on Ebay.
I really hate that I can't edit my ads or answer messages on my laptop. I dislike that if I want to post pictures from my phone directly on the app I have to crop them. I don't want to crop a picture I took specifically to post!
It's been a slow ride on here, but I'm optimistic that this site may pick up.
The biggest complaint isn't about this site, it's about the people who have bought from me - they are always LATE when meeting! Ugh!

I ordered "I'm watching Hallmark Christmas Movies" socks as a gift for someone on December 6th and received them on December 21st. I did keep track of the shipping. When I saw that it hadn't been shipped 6 days after payment, I emailed them. They messaged back prompty. I paid $6.29 for the socks and $3.99 for the shipping, which totals $10.28. I think this is a little much, but these were the cheapest on the web at this time. Now they are on sale for $5.99. These are a fun gift, so I don't have great expectations the person will wear these much. The quality is fine, but not that great. They are very thin socks. I got the gray/red ones. I wouldn't recommend these overall, but as a fun gift for someone who lives for the Hallmark XMas movies, it worked for me.

I wanted to try the mobile pay and was super happy that the deal for that day was the filet-o-fish buy one get one free! I even customized my order with extra tartar sauce! It was fast and easy. I also customized my order for a large Sprite with no ice!
I was the only one there who did a mobile order, so it was easy for them to see my order!
I don't like leaving my credit card info on an app, so I just swiped and deleted it from the payment area on the app when I got home!
I ordered from my home and McDonalds is only a few minutes away from my home.
I'd recommend it and will use it again!

I know all about Little Caesars since I had worked at one when I was a teenager.
The prices are great! This place has friendly employees and the food is always good!

I've never had any problems on here at all. (Thank Goodness!) I agree with Nancy M. On all the guidelines about the transaction.
I HIGHLY recommend YOU ask LOTS OF QUESTIONS BEFORE purchasing! I've had MANY sellers NOT respond. I asked the same normal questions to a seller and she blocked me immediately without even answering me, then right away updated her ad and remarked on my questions! Rude! I asked if her item was authentic, which come on, there are lots of knock offs out there! It is NOT acceptable for any seller to block a buyer just because they feel like it! I asked normal questions about the item and she, for whatever reason, decided to put a block against me! That's NOT acceptable!
Other than her and those who don't respond, I've had really easy, friendly transactions with fair prices. All items arrived exactly as pictured. All these items were in new condition! I'm very happy with all my purchases and happy with the sellers!
I've only had to contact customer service once about that seller who blocked me. They responded immediately. No big deal.
I've added my purchase pictures, seller's information, dates, and costs to share on the items I've bought.
I really wanted to sell on Mercari, but with all these horrible seller reviews, I'm absolutely horrified to even try! Why do those miserable losers have to go out of their way to ruin things for everyone? Shame on you! I have nice things to sell and DON'T want to get scammed! At least selling on Craigslist, I let them know I will only meet at the local police station! There's no internet police for these sites!
Just remember, ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING!
*As a side note* It's 2018, anyone can say anything, but if you don't have pictures of actual proof or lots of detailed information in a review, then I wouldn't really give it much consideration. Everyone has access to cameras and can give IDs and detailed dates and actual real information.
