I received the repair kit today, 2/17/20. I started the repair right away first getting familiar with tools and repair instructions. Fortunately, I anticipated the issue of separating halves by having purchased the iSclack tool. What a time saver. The repair process took about 1 hour, extra time was taken to manipulate the tiniest screws (you need very good vision and extra lighting) into place when putting the phone back together. Instructions were clear, step-by-step with cautions where critical handling delicate connectors. The most difficult part of the repair was removing the battery. This also took extra time as the adhesive was quite obstinate and did not want to let go. Putting the connectors back required patience and a steady hand. Both halves were eased back into place without any drama. The repair was successful, The iPhone turned on immediately.
