I've had 2 good experiences and 1 nightmare. Even in the good experiences, there are weird quirks, like receiving the shipment, and then getting an email a week later saying it had been delayed but was in transit. In the bad experience, the vender emailed and said he no longer had the product I ordered. I then asked to cancel the order, and asked for a refund. The vender then demanded that I specify in writing the reasons why I wanted to cancel the order. I did so, and then he said I had to contact another party and repeat the request. However, I was given no contact information was for the third party I was supposed to contact. We went round and round for about a week, and I still have not received the credit/refund. AND, as far as I can see on the website, there is no way to rate a vender/merchant or read others' experience, so you're pretty much flying blind when you order.
I used to love the Costco stores. My favorite part of Saturday in Anchorage was the happy trip to Costo. In Western CO, I gladly drove 120 miles each way to go to Costco in Gypsum CO.

But, nothing good transfered to their online store, ostensibly competitor to Sam's Club online. It took me several long phone calls to Customer Service to update my membership address. They hey sent my chocolate chip order to Arizona instead of to my address in California. And, finally, yesterday, they sent my order to the correct address, but addressed to somebody I have never heard of, along with a packing slip listing items I had not ordered. Each time I call customer assistance, they talk to me like I'm stupid. I'm afraid, as Amazon and Sam's get better and better, more and more customer friendly, Costco is going to get left in the dust. Too bad. They were once a great company.
