I booked tickets for a trip to see my parents for $254. When I was asked to enter my billing address, the website changed the passenger name to my mother. Typical technology error. However, I contacted customer service and was told that there would be no additional cost in order to adjust the name change. They emailed me and told me that the name change can be made, but that the cost of the ticket is now $288. Southwest airlines website has a lower cost, skiplagged (where I originally booked the tickets through) had a lower price, and when I went on Ovago website, there was a lower price. I asked if I could cancel the tickets and I was told that I would be charged an additional charge of $50. I have no other option from Ovago to correct this mistake other than to pay more for my ticket. I suggest anyone to go though any other booking site. Horrible customer service. I wasn't offered anything other than a ticket $34 more or a $50 cancelation fee.
