So I tried to resolve an inferior quality issue, and like 8 emails later and several phone calls in, I still was unable to resolve it to my satisfaction. The tulips were delivered to my daughter in a dirty plastic vase with two tulips dying. The arrangement looked very cheap, and this was on a Friday. On the website, I clicked on the 'standard' size of 10 tulips and the software defaulted to the premium size of 15 tulips. I tried to go back and correct it, but it did the same thing. I was in a hurry so accepted that. Then when I went to check out, there was a $15? Service and handling charge, after they had advertised free delivery. Again, I went ahead and accepted it even though I wasn't liking it. So, after my daughter reluctantly quizzed e about the flowers and told me of their inferiority, I contacted Ava's Flowers customer service. It was Friday afternoon, and they said they could not get ahold of the designer to confirm the inferior quality and that they would get back to me when they had spoken to the designer. So Meanwhile they offered me 10% off my next order and a $10 credit. I wanted a refund, but they just strung me along with this 'have to talk to the designer' line. So when Monday afternoon rolled in and I had not heard from them, I contacted them by email and was told that they would again try to get ahold of the designer and get back to me. They did get back to me, but never would budge with a refund, and kept trying to get me to accept the previous offer of 10% off and $10 credit, still not to my satisfaction. I finally got someone to offer to 'redeliver' the same floral arrangement but to a different address as my daughter had flown back home after her surgery recuperation. It was all set up and they said it would take 2-3 days to be delivered. So, I agreed and they never came 3-4 days later, so contacted them again. Seems as if they never even placed the redelivery, and again offered me the same ole 'deal'. 10% off and 10% credit. Somewhere about this time they said I'd have 20,000 points of credit. By this time I so disgusted with them that I pretty much gave up and just said I'd be writing a bad review. Then a couple of days later I decided to see how much the 20,000 points was worth, and when I went into the website, there was no place to input this information so I called them. After being transferred to several people, someone finally told me the points were worth $20.00. At this point I simply said I won't be placing an order. I decided I'd have to spend a good $60.00 to get the $20.00 credit and then I might be disappointed the second time too. Then I could only blame myself for using them again. Im done with this company! They come up on a google search as if they are a local florist, but they are not. They are a nationwide company that farms out to a local florist. Just FYI.
