I have been using fiverr for over a year now and it has both good and bad sides. First the good: it is easy to make an ad to offer a service and you do reach a large audience. Second the bad: they police the ads and aren't clear which section to put them in. If you don't get it right your ad will be removed. No one would have any trouble going to the right category if they would just tell you what it is, but they don't...
Second bad: you can't just delete an email because the system will mark it as a non-reply. That's where things get truly ridiculous, because sometimes all an email is is SPAM. Beginning sellers won't know this, so they delete an email and poof, your response time is shot to hell. Don't bother contacting customer service, because that is where this platform really reaches zero starts... they suck. Better just wait out the month, because then the scores will reset themselves.

On buying services: quality varies wildly, so you have to be careful what you buy. I have bought services I loved and services that had no use because the seller didn't carry out the work correctly. In the end it all comes down to 'do I want to spend a little more to get better quality'?

The products are great and customer service even better. Their packaging needs a little work, but with improvement I would have no trouble buying my cosmetics directly from them instead of going to Macys.

My Macys experiences are mostly great. Only problem I ever had was when a cashier forgot to remove an alarm (she did deactivate it so I got all the way home before I noticed). Service at the cosmetics counters is great though.

I have also used their chat service which is very easy to use with minimal wait time. If you don't want to hang on the phone, the reps at this service definitely have the know-how to help just as well.

The products here are great, the shipping time is alright (about 10 to 14 days for the most part if you select economy) and the cosmetics are carefully wrapped. One other thing I would change is to make the packaging a little more transparent. Everything is packed in these lovely pink boxes, but from the outside it is hard to tell what is inside. So if you order a bunch of sets as gifts there is no way to tell what is inside without opening everything up.

I have bought from their website multiple times and never has an issue. Items always ship fast and they are always exactly as described and wrapped very carefully (in pretty stila paper too).

Truly horrible customer service. Even to customers who have made half a dozen purchases. When something goes wrong (they sent lipsticks that are misproductions) they expect the customer to PAY for return shipping when the mistake is theirs. I have no problem returning, but I have a HUGE problem paying to return something that should have been pristine!

This company really is the worst. After putting up with mistake after mistake after mistake; this company doesn't even know enough to wrap eye shadow palettes, instead tossing their makeup products hap hazardously in a box and acting surprise when stuff arrives broken; THEN they can't even read your order and manage to pack not 1 but 8 (EIGHT) incorrect items into a single order. I mean, come-in?! Which, I might add, they then offer you a discount on your next order for and expect you to spend more money with them after you return their items. I mean, in what world would I want to shop with you at this point?! Their resolution is literally, 'oh, we're sorry, we'll file a report'. Oh they file reports into perpetuity alright, without anything ever changing. I could go live at the post office to return every wrong item in their package (MIND YOU, you have to wait to get a refund on the wrong crap they send you too!). Had them remove my account, plenty of other companies out there and frankly, I am done taking their bs. Don't waste you time, money and energy!

Have been a customer almost since the beginning and Shoedazzle has SERIOUSLY gone downhill. I can't use your credits on sale items without losing the promotional value, have to spend a minimum amount, oh and the worst, have to spend your FULL credit per credit amount. I still have credits (nothing to use them on due to poorer and poorer choices) and am counting the days until I can stop skipping months, spend them on something worth while and END my VIP membership.

Aside from the cute name, i loved the packaging on some of these products. Their hummingbird...
