I immediately fell in love with the concept! Only the "highest quality" and that's exactly what you get when you have the first contact with lacantus customer service. Better that that, it will be the incredible beautiful item that you can buy with confidence, knowing that even if it's the end of the world, the item purchased will reach your hands or you'll get your money back! I bought an old painting from the 17th century when the pandemic started a year ago. Almost like a nightmare, I couldn't imagine that borders would be closed, flights would be canceled, the world's commercial exchange would be completely stopped! Jesus Christ! Try to put yourself in my shoes when you buy an European 17th century work of art and you know that the price is really very very different than buying a washing machine on amazon! The painting was stopped for 2 weeks (or more) in Europe, and then 3 weeks (or more) in the United States. During all that time, almost a month, I was constantly receiving messages from lacantus customer service, making me feel calm and understand that they are permanently behind this issue trying to solve it. Even better, they told me not to worry, because if my purchase (the painting) never reach my hands, they would refund all of my money, giving me a 25% discount If I wanted to buy another painting or product in the future!... of course. When all those pandemic problems end.
When I noticed that they were as worried as I was and there was a possibility that I might not receive my purchase, with all those problems around the world... I personally felt that there were honest people working hard behind lacantus trying to give me the best solution! So, days later I received the news directly from the lacantus administrator saying that they "managed to unblock" shipment at customs and it will arrive at my address in the next few days! What relief! What a suspense! After so much waiting... it was a real adventure at least for me, but it wasn't over yet... When the shipping company put the painting in my hands they told me that I should pay customs taxes! Of course I did! I paid! But I had forgotten! The lacantus "terms & conditions" clarify that there may be customs taxes!
So I decided to write lacantus store, just to inform them that I had successfully received this authentic 17th century beautiful painting and I was very happy with it! But I also told them about this small little detail (customs taxes)! And explained to them that I had completely forgotten that I had to pay... surprisingly, the next day I received an email from the administrator saying that they would reimburse me that amount of money! Why?. They said. Because I have been an excellent customer, I was very respectful and I had a lot of patience in a difficult time for everyone! And... more especially, I had a lot of confidence in the whole service they provide! What a beautiful shopping online experience and what a nice words!
I work in the medical field and for many reasons I didn't have enough time to sit down and write this review... but every time I receive visitors and they admire my genuine oil painting from the seventeenth century, I said to myself "I must write that review... I must write... that review..."
After a catastrophic and cataclysmic year, here is my sincere and honest opinion based on a (great adventure and) beautiful personal experience!
