Tearing down an Intel iMac seemed like a daunting task -- to replace a failing power supply. I watched the ifixit videos, ordered the recommended tools, and went to work. It only took about 20 minutes to do the teardown without any problems. I'm waiting for the new PS to arrive so I can reverse the process. I believe reassembly will be as easy as the teardown. Thanks ifixit for your clear and concise instructional videos and array of tools and parts.
I do have one caution; make sure the LCD screen is clean if you purchase the suction cups before you use them. They will not hold onto a dirty screen.
