No Show Umbrella/Horrible Customer Service
I placed an order June 12 for a 9ft Patio Umbrella with push button tilt and crank- Beige. I received an email June 16 that my order was on the way and was provided a FedEx tracking number. As of today, July 8,2020 I have not received my order and the FedEx status has not changed from "Estimated Delivery Date Pending."
I emailed Abba Patio July 6 and received a response July 7 from "Angie" stating my issue would be reported to a supervisor to get the solution for me, and that I would receive an email with an update "soon."
This afternoon (July 8) I made two unsuccessful attempts to speak with a service representative at *******227- each time holding for "the next available rep" for at least 10 minutes, only to be disconnected.
On my third attempt I was able to get through. I explained to the service rep (who didn't provide her name) my issue. She placed me on hold to review my order then advised me she would flag the email to which they had already responded as "urgent." Then she said she would connect me to a supervisor and placed me on hold for a second time. While I waited I direct messaged Abba patio on both their Facebook and Instagram pages. I also posted directly on those platform pages. While still on hold, the call just dropped.
So in total I spent an hour trying to get my order issue resolved to no avail, not including the email correspondence. At this point I'm refuting the charge with my bank because I have zero faith that Abba Patio will resolve this. Very disappointing. Was very much looking forward to an Abba Patio umbrella as everyone raves about the quality. Unfortunately my experience thus far with their customer service has totally soured me and I will not be giving them a second chance.
